Business Description

Skyuka Fine Art is a premier art gallery in the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Professional artists who have reached a high level of success in their careers are represented. Traditional painting styles in primarily a representational style are exhibited. Collectable artists of the past, often significant to our location, are also shown. Private art collector/dealer Nowell Guffey partners with us in this area. Oil paintings are the focus of what we sell, but sculpture, fine art craft, and photography will also be represented.  In addition to traditional openings, we will host events in the evenings from time to time. Lecture topics could include art history, anatomy lessons, wine lectures, literary events, benefits, etc. Our goal to be the go-to gallery for anyone seeking excellent artwork, especially truly representative work of the area, both in its artists, and its visual locality. We hope to grow with our community of local galleries to make Tryon a destination spot for art lovers by co-hosting events such as gallery strolls/crawls, and late night hours as well. Our ultimate goal will be for clients and art lovers to find our gallery and our website to be a creative outlet where they can enjoy, discuss and hopefully purchase fantastic artwork.
