Truckee Tahoe Propane

Currently TTP is charging $2.99 a gallon for regular customers or $2.09 for new customers with a 3 year commitment. They also charge $95 a year plus tax to rent a tank from them.

While ferrellgas only charges me a $1.95 a gallon on 1/16/13 I'm a regular customer not on a first fill I have referred 4 different customers to ferrellgas that has given me $300 in credits plus I get the lowest price. If you don't like spending more than you have to on Propane I would not recommend getting a tank with these guys. When I was with them I could not buy the propane tank in my back yard. Currently they are charging $3.34 a gallon for propane. While Ferrellgas is charging $2.48 a gallon while it is true that Ferrellgas has a delivery fee of $20 a fill while Truckee propane charges only $4 a delivery after I bought 278 gallons of propane from Ferrellgas my bill was about $220 lower than Truckee Tahoe Propane bill would have been even after paying a higher delivery charge. Plus I can buy the tank from Ferrellgas for $800 if I ever want to change propane companies and not switch out tanks. Plus Ferrellgas switched my tank for free and brought back my old tank to Truckee Tahoe Propane. I recommend going on will call with Truckee Tahoe Propane before switching out.
