I've been a student at the Michigan Makeup Academy for 5 months now. If you're looking for a great, PROFESSIONAL, informative place to study, this is the institution for you. The faculty is wonderful. They are nothing less than seasoned professionals and some of the most creative people I've ever met. Each class is tailored to thoroughly train you in that field. They have a wide array of classes that cover every aspect of the makeup industry. The instructors give you personal attention to help you grow and learn as an artist. The owner, aside from being a wonderful artist, is a killer businesswoman. She even holds business and marketing classes to help you make your creative business grow. They frequently hold seminars and workshops with celebrity artists. I HIGHLY recommend getting your education here! I was one of those people who came in to the first class assuming I would know the bulk of what was being taught, since I had been a makeup junkie, researcher, and youtube follower for years. That wasn't the case. There's a whole other side to this industry and they are spot on with giving you the professionalism and skill that you need. Now, I find myself getting in to the academy any chance I get! I love, LOVE it here. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
