I couldn't be more pleased. Peter-John helped me out and he was tremendous. Extremely knowledgable and honest I knew I had made the right decision after just a few minites with him. My fiancée has stated that the ring is perfect about 20 times now. Never going anywhere else!

Ive honestly never experienced a "real" jewelry shopping experience until I was fortunate enough to find "Diamond Vault of Troy" this is an unfortunate statement considering that this is my 4th wedding ring. But now that Ive found DVOT I can not see myself going anywhere else...Let me explain.

I had an insurance claim on my wedding ring (the diamond was damaged) so I was in search of a reputable place to replace it. I did a search for "Jeweler" on google and was taken aback by all the wonderful reviews I read for DVOT. That, and the ideal location near somerset mall, which I often frequent, had me curious enough to make an appointment. From the time I first walked in I was blown away! This is a gorgeous and private location, with a truly relaxed atmosphere. The kind receptionist offered me my choice of beverage.."a glass of wine, of course"-already off to a good start! As I waited in my private office for the store owner, I could over hear the conversation of a gentleman in the lobby explaining the ABC's of diamond selecting to a client "wow this is what I needed all those years ago, when I selected my rings!" I thought. Then I met Randy. Right away I was extremely impressed with how much he educated me. He was able to pinpoint how and where the damage occurred on my old diamond and give me good options for my replacement. He also contacted my insurance company for me, and handled all the paperwork, only thing he left for me to do was select my diamond! He showed me a wide variety of options and possibilities, but what REALLY impressed me was how he respected my budget, he knew what I received from the insurance claim and carefully stayed in those boundaries, I really appreciated that. Finally I selected my dream diamond!..the only problem was that it didn't fit in my rings setting. Randy worked with me week after week; month after month as I changed my mind and went back and forth about what I wanted. He never once showed impatience or annoyance, instead he spoke very reassuring to me about how important it was to him that I was happy...That really put me at ease.. The finished product is an absolutely breath taking incredible ring! I could not be happier with my new ring or the wonderful experience and service i received at the Diamond vault of Troy. What an incredible experience with Peter-John Paresis, Graduate Gemologist. I began my search for an engagement over 1 year ago, knowing a decent amount of information about diamonds. My first interaction with Peter-John was informational. We discussed the 4 C's and what I was looking for. Rather than a salesperson to a customer relationship, Peter-John approached it with his wide knowledge base, being that he is a GIA Certified Graduate Gemologist. The best part is that he is a one stop shop for information, rather than a salesperson having to ask others about your ring quality. I was not ready at that time to purchase and Peter-John did not try to convince me otherwise. We stayed in touch and he continued to provide me with information peripherally. I did look around at some other local diamond places, but found myself back where I started at Peter-John's desk. He found me an amazing GIA round diamond that my Fiancee absolutely loves. She gets compliments every day. The entire process was made so easy for me and Peter-John was the reason why. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a diamond to go and see him. When I think of engagement ring shopping as a man, it is intimidating. It took me quite a bit of courage to even step foot into a jewelry store. When my fiancé and I would look, we always felt hustled and I walked away with a bad gut feeling. I also didn't want to get her hopes too high checking out many stores so I decided to start looking by myself and keep a little mystery in the picture.



I searched the web for other local businesses, and came across Diamond Vault of Troy. When I arrived, I was greeted by Peter-John Parisis. I was impressed right off the bat because I was offered a coffee with Baileys (and it was quite delicious at 9am). I found out that Peter-John was a minister and extremely friendly. He stepped me through the diamond picking process with ease. Explaining the 4 Cs and how to get the best diamond with my budget. I had a very strict and tight budget, and not once was pushed to go above and beyond.



We searched for a diamond and I was very impressed with what we found. The carat, color, cut, and clarity were extremely good for the price allocated for the diamond. After picking out the diamond, we decided to design the ring custom to fit the diamond perfect. I sat down and discussed what I noticed my fiancé liked. After a couple days, I received a CAD drawing, and was asked to approve the design. I thought it was perfect, and exactly what I was looking for. A couple days after that, I received a call that the ring was ready to be picked up.



This is the point where I got nervous. This was the biggest purchase of my life. It not only was because of price, but because it is a lifetime commitment, and something that will change my life. I had butterflies (manly butterflies that is), and went to receive my ring. Because Peter John was GIA certified and a Graduated Gemologist, I received the certified appraisal from the same location. I was going on a trip to California, and planned on transporting the ring in the box, and propose sometime out there. Peter John gave me some tips to make that moment perfect. Instead of carrying a bulky box in my pocket, I received a pouch to carry the ring in. I hid the box in a thick sock in my suitcase. (After the fact, she admitted to feeling my pockets when we met each other to see if I had a ring, but didn't feel anything).



My overall experience was great, and plan on going back for future purchases. Peter-John Parisis was extremely honest and detail oriented. I highly recommend the Diamond Vault to anyone because you won't be disappointed!

I recently purchased an engagement ring at Diamond Vault of Troy. I went in knowing nothing about diamonds or rings and after a brief meeting with Peter-John I felt completely comfortable and confident in my decisions. I was so nervous when I was in the beginning stages of trying to find an engagement ring, but I decided to take the advice of my recently married friend and go to the Diamond Vault of Troy. He told me that their customer service was second to none, the quality of rings they crafted were spectacular and that they were willing to work with your budget. He was not lying!! As soon as I stepped into their store, they greeted me with open arms. I could not have asked for a better person to work with than Peter John!! He wasn't just trying to sell me a ring, he wanted to get to know myself and my girlfriend. He was kind, he told me the most important things to look for when picking out a ring and was not pushy at all. In the end, my ruby and diamond engagement ring turned out great! My fiancé and I only looked at the Diamond Vault of Troy for engagement rings. We had read all of the reviews online and my sister had purchased her engagement ring from them, so we knew that the Diamond Vault of Troy was the only place we wanted to go.



Peter-John worked with us on choosing a ring and educated us on all of the aspects of diamonds. I wanted a simple solitaire setting and Peter-John did not try to pressure me into picking a setting that I did not want. He also asked us what we wanted to spend and only showed us diamonds that were within our price range.]



I was fully expecting to walk out with a round, solitaire engagement ring. Little did I know that Peter-John would show us a different cut that would out-sparkle a round diamond. When I said that I wanted a round diamond, Peter-John asked me if I wanted to outshine everyone with a round diamond. He said he couldn't let me pick a round diamond without showing me the FireMark Princess Cut diamond. Peter-John brought out one FireMark and several round diamonds in our price range and then the comparison began. I had the FireMark and a round on my hand and the Firemark had more sparkle and brilliance. We also did a walking comparison where an associate had a round diamond on one hand and a FireMark on the other. She walked towards us and we were told to pay attention to which one sparkled more. The FireMark won that comparison. The sparkle and brilliance of the FireMark convinced me to get it for my engagement ring. I never thought I would choose anything but a round cut because I wanted the sparkle that a round diamond has. But the FireMark is not a traditional princess cut and is above and beyond a round diamond.



We picked up my ring yesterday and I am in love with it and couldn't ask for a better ring! I am already getting compliments from future family members and they are only looking at pictures and not the actual ring! I cannot wait to go pick out our wedding bands in a few months! There is no better place to look for jewelry than the Diamond Vault of Troy. Dealing with Tim was an amazing experience from the first moment we talked into the vault. There was no pressure to buy and he was extremely informative. Tim was able to custom make our pieces to our exact specifications and the final results far exceeded our expectations. There is no where else we will buy jewelry from this point on.

After going to about 10 different “chain” diamond stores, I was completely blown away from the moment I walked in the door at Diamond Vault Of Troy. Tim and Randy greeted me as though I was a longtime friend, and they guided me throughout the entire process of picking of an engagement ring. I came into their store after doing a fair amount of research on diamonds and engagement rings, but the level of their knowledge showed me that I had barely scratched the surface.



Being the indecisive person I am, it was hard for me to make a decision on both a stone and a setting. While most stores would be annoyed by this, Tim and Randy embraced it and allowed me to take my time rather than pushing me into a product or trying to upsell me. They personally showed me countless stones side by side and personally educated me on the differences between each stone and how those differences affected the price. They acted as consultants with my best interests in mind throughout the entire process. They even helped me to determine my fiancé’s taste based off of pictures she had sent me, and by the time we were done they were making me a customized ring to fit exactly what I wanted!



My fiancé knew she wanted a princess cut stone, but my concern was that a princess stone wouldn’t provide the sparkle she was looking for in the same way that a round would. I was nervous about getting a princess stone just because of this fact; that was until Tim and Randy introduced me to the FIREMARK Princess Cut diamond. This diamond is amazing, and I learned that Diamond Vault Of Troy is the only distributor of these stones in Michigan. It is the only princess cut diamond that has the same sparkle and brilliance of a round cut stone due to its precision cut and unique faceting. Now, when she puts her ring next to other ordinary princess cut stones, it blows them away and makes them look dull and ordinary. It’s a great feeling knowing that she has a very unique ring in the FIREMARK, and it’s an added bonus that I was the first customer to purchase a FIREMARK diamond in the state of Michigan!



Overall, I would not recommend anywhere else when it comes to jewelry and engagement rings. Tim and Randy have over 25 years of experience, and they make you feel at home throughout the entire shopping experience. They provided me with custom made piece based off a Tacori ring with a FIREMARK princess diamond for my proposal for about 1/3 of the price of other jewelers, and I can tell by the look in her eyes that it truly is everything she wanted in her engagement ring. We couldn’t be happier, and we will be lifetime customers of the Diamond Vault Of Troy!

I took my 34 year old wedding set to Diamond Vault of Troy to have the stones re-set in a newer setting. I also wanted to use as much of my gold as possible in the new ring. I also wanted a custom designed setting. Well, Randy was able to do it all, and magnificently! He walked us through each step, listened to all we had to say, was able to figure out exactly what I wanted (I didn't even know what I wanted), and created for us a truly special, unique, and beautiful ring. Everyone at DVT was friendly and helpful and I highly recommend them.

The service I received at the Diamond Vault was exceptional. I sold some jewelry and was paid more here than other places that quoted me. And, they even gave me $100 towards the gas for driving from an hour away. It was very personal service and I hope to 'buy' something from them in the future rather than 'sell'. They have wonderful staff and Randy is a great person to do business with! Highly recommend...even if you live far (like myself)...it was worth the drive to do business with a great company.

I can not speak highly enough of Diamond Vault of Troy. I have the most beautiful custom made engagement ring from here. I live in NYC, and people are constantly asking me about this ring and raving about it. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is absolutely superb. The location is beautiful, the staff is attentive and really knows what they are talking about. Ask for Randy! The Diamond Vault of Troy is absolutely wonderful! I was so very pleased with the one on one customer service. Tim educated me and helped me to put together a engagement ring that deserved a name, Ms. Loretta. I had been to several big named jewelers looking for a ring, everything was standard run of the mill and poor quality for the asking price. I am a first time customer of the Diamond Vault of Troy but am experienced when it comes to engagement rings and other jewelry.
