The food is not very good, The fries are so salty I could not eat them. The prepackaged burgers were like cardboard. Seems like everything was a salt lick.

My wife and I went out with friends (total of 10 of us) to one of your locations on Big Beaver Rd. in Troy, MI to have some drinks, dine and watch the UFC fight. It was also one of our friends birthday. We made a reservation as we always do when we go out in groups. My wife and I got there first and decided to have some drinks at the bar while waiting for the rest of the party. We got there a little bit after 9pm and the UFC PPV part was not starting until 10pm. However, the event always starts at 9pm on SpikeTV showing the first hour of fights free. Champps has plenty of TV’s that show different sports on, and the bar was not full of people at the time when we were there. We asked the manager if he could switch to SpikeTV channel on one of the many TV’s so we could watch the UFC. He said that since it is not PPV then the fights are probably not as important and there might be other people watching college basketball that was on at the time (the only person that was sitting at the bar close to us, was actually awaiting for the UFC event as well and people sitting further away were watching other TV’s). We decided no to ask anymore and awaited rest of the party that arrived at about 9:30pm. We were moved to more private reserved area with our own TV. When I noticed the same manager walking by I asked him VERY politely again if he could switch the channel on the TV in our room to SpikeTV since there are no other people watching it and all of us arrived for the UFC fights. I was VERY RUDELY responded to with: “We advertise the PPV UFC at 10 o’clock and thats when I am gonna switch the channel”. When I again politely tried to explained that there are no other people in our area watching the TV, and we were there to actually celebrate our friends birthday while watching UFC, he was even more rude saying: “I have no time for you, there are other customers I have to take care of”!!! (I really believe I took less that 10 seconds of his time). I asked for his name but he just turned around and completely ignored me while walking away. It was very disappointing specially that I was blown off in front of all of my friends. My wife and I recently moved back from Las Vegas where we both worked at the a 5 star hotel dealing directly with customer service and guest relations on daily basis and I think I would probably be fired I ever responded to a guest/customer in that way. We have been to many restaurants and dined around on the weekends very often with friends and really I have never been treated like this before. We were about to leave but decided to stay however we will not be coming back to Champps again. I believe that the managers disrespect and abrasive attitude is inconceivable, it left not only me but our entire party in shock. We were there for a good time instead left with a horrible experience.
The food was not the best and it was very chilly and noisey because the music was too loud but the wait staff was okay.
Food is average. Location is loud. Waitstaff is not very attentative.

I'm not a big fan of chains, but the tvs are plenty and the food is excellent. They could stand to turn the air conditioning down a bit.
