Travelers Rest Quick Lube

They were very professional and polite, and it didn't take them long at all to change the oil, top off the fluids, and replace my windshield wipers---everything I needed done before my trip. Like most places do they had a t.v. going in the waiting room, but they also had a nice bench outside so I could sit and study while waiting.

I run a specific oil in my truck (Kenall synthetic), the only oil that has ever been in it since it was new. Not everyone has this oil, always used a place in North Carolina where I'm originally from. I called TR Quick Lube to see it they had it, I was told that they would have it there when I got there. I told them I would be there within the hour. When I got there and pulled my truck in, they asked if I was the one that called, and I told them I was. The lady at the counter said she would go get the oil, since she wanted to make sure that I was actually going to show up. While she went out to go get the oil, the tech in the pit pulled my drain plug and drained my oil before she got back. When she came back, she said that the NAPA doesn't have it. After checking a couple more places, no one in T.R. has that specific oil. The owner said "we can't find your oil" I told him that was a big problem since the oil from my motor was already in his pit. Needless say, I now have something else in my truck that I would have never put in it had I any choice. A call ahead of time was useless. I will not be taking any of my vehicles there ever again. I will drive the extra miles to take it where it's always been.
