I've been going to Massimos for years. I am originally from North Jersey and it's very hard to find pizza that tastes like from home. And wouldn't it be, it's not North Jersey it's Florida and like anywhere else, cetain things are not going to be the same from where you're from.Let's just say that. Then I discovered Massimos! The pizza is original and authentic, with every pie yet slightly different each time however still deliciously reminds me of what a pizza should taste like. This also includes all of the entrees on the menu. Especially, the ones with red gravy (sauce) that taste like what my mother made. The salads are always cold, crispy and fresh. They offer a variety of beverages including cold beer. The staff is always friendly and service is prompt.including the delivery boys. The place is a smaller quaint pizza parlor atmosphere with a dozen or so booths and tables. Ordering at the counter to take home or to eat there, (casual), Massimos is the closest to what I remember an authentic pizzeria to be, with prices' you can't beat. (You can tell by the take out line that passes your table.) After a home delivery, I will often call them just to let them know how Massimo never ceases to top himself. I recommend Massimos Pizza to those who are searching and for those who never experienced what Pizza and Pasta should REALLY taste like. Bravo Massimo! PS.....don't forget to try the Cannollis! This information is incorrect! I worked there myself at the time this girl was there. What that gentleman said is in no way true to any extent. This is slander and this man is lying and giving these people a bad reputation over a disgruntled employee that simply didn't work out during her probationary period. Also, for the record as the counter person who was training her, the counter pay rate is more than generous considering there ARE tips recieved. What he said was right about getting paid more once your on your own because then there wouldn't be two girls needing to be paid. Training pay is lower than the actual pay for that reason, but again, tips are recieved during this time. Little Italy is a great place to work and and equal opportunity employer with a probabtionary period of 90 days following hire. If this wasn't a fair employer, he wouldn't have employees that have exceeded the 20 year mark. There are several employees that have been there that long! So please don't take to heart the review that's here over a "disgruntled employee". Also, this is a review website. This is where you speak about your experience while a customer at Little Italy. You "Review" about the prices, atmosphere, service, quality of the food you had, and wheather you would go back or not, or if you would recommend this restaurant to other people. It is not for a nasty parent of a former employee to rant!!
Signed up for their email notices because it was touted as a sports bar to see your favorite game. The have the NFL ticket so when our favorite team was not on national tv we decided to give it a try! Decor,TV's and food are excellent! The problem we had is this sports bar is located at PGA Village golf complex and the TV were set up for specified games ! The customers we thought they were attracting were Pub customers who wanted to come in for a meal and watch a game instead of golfers who dominated what games were being watched had their beer after a round for 20 minutes and took off for home! We had to ask to move twice to finally get near a TV to see our team! I suggest if you want a beer and some food before or after your round and watch football while you consume both then this is your place! If you want to go and watch a football game go to a sports bar that caters to football fans not golfers first then football fans!
