Vacation Station Kennel

The poor review was most likely by competition IMO. I've seen this before in this modern hiding technology age. Even the name: sally""sand"" seems to be taken off of the owners breed kennel name. A TERRIBLE way to do business. I have known Sandra and Scott for many years and know that Sandra is a clean nut and a dog loving caretaker extraordinaire. I felt comfortable letting my 8 week show dog pup stay with her and can assure you that your dog will be treated superbly for staying or for a grooming visit. She is doing everything in her power to keep fleas away and keep the place shining clean. She would do that anyway, but especially since she raises big winning show dogs. Weasing? Huh? This person NEVER had a dog there. If they did they could have had a dog that reverse sneezed due to spring pollen allergies. But that is a NIL point.
I travel with my animals but am not allowed to enter the Smokey Mountains per park regulations. I know that when I board my animals there that they are being cared for by people who treat their animals well. I've looked around in the area and have heard horrible things about or places that offer grooming services when the animals have actually been severly injured. I trust Vacation Station with all my animals; it's the next best thing to me taking care of them myself.
This person's dog was not here. I don't know why they posted this false review, however, I can assure you our kennel does NOT have fleas, nor do we accept ill dogs! I personally scrub the place, and regularly use pesticides. We inspect each and every dog for any problems, including fleas and ticks, and if they have any, we inform the owner, and the dog receives a bath and flea dip IMMEDIATELY. I don't know what ""weasing"" is, either.Perhaps they couldn't spell ""wheezing"". Regardless, we REQUIRE proof of all vaccinations, including bordatella (kennel cough). I wonder if this person is one of the people who got verbally abusive when we would not take their non-vaccinated dog? After reading this libelous statement, I personally called ALL our boarders from this time period to see if they were satisfied, and all said they were happy, their dogs were flea free, and not ill in any way. We welcome anyone and everyone to see the kennel during our business hours.
