        What is Chapter 7? Commonly called LIQUIDATION, but that does not mean you will lose your car or house. You will get rid of most of your debts while still being able to keep your car and home and stop the creditors from garnishing your check. What is Chapter 13? It is a WAGE EARNER PLAN. You must have income of some sort to file this kind of case. IF you are behind on your car or house or both this may be the one for you. You can do things in the plan you CANNOT do in a Chapter 7. Can Bankruptcy stop GARNISHMENTS? YES. If you retain my services, we can stop the garnishments as soon as the case is filed with the court. Can I keep my tax refunds? Depends.
