Legendary Food, Legendary Service
I was very unimpressed I had been told how great this place is it was not I went there for my 55th birthday it is so dark in there that I had to use flashlight on my phone to read menu. I had steak and rib combo the steak was tough, the smothered onions were not cooked the broccoli practically raw the food bland no taste. I should have gone to Outback or Longhorn Steak I will not ever return here. The only good thing is that they play great country music.
I would drive the extra 40 minutes to go here instead of Lone Star. It is very loud but it is always a laugh when the 50 year old next to you is having a b-day and gets to go sit on the saddle. They have the best bread and butter (it is like cinnamon butter) and the service is very good. if you don't mind loud, country music and just loud in general then GO HERE it is great!
After a long wait in which we were treated to in the shell peanuts, we ordered steaks that were only decent. The table space in the restaurant is fairly tight.
