I would rate this restaurant good to excellent. However, it's a bit crowded at the dinner hour. Some patrons need to maintain control over their children. Overall it's a great place to eat and the price is right. I will go there again.

The hostess was dressed like a slob, the hours on the website said 24 hours.we arrived at 715, they didn't open til 730.It smelled bad.we left and went down the street to. Egg. Heads.

I am so sorry to say that I was totally shocked! My husband and I always went to Joliet's Golden Corral and thought that this one was closer to home so let's try it...BIG MISTAKE. I have to say I did read the reviews but still wanted to check it out..it should be OK..right? The line was long and the food was just awful...awful...awful. The corn on the cob was not fully cooked, the jumbo shrimp was not cooked completely, my husband is a chicken eater and he did not finish not one piece..he usually eats a whole chicken by himself. Absolutely nothing in our plates were completely done..I can see them rushing trying to keep food coming but QUALITY to me is more important than Quantity. That will keep customers coming back. I will never go back NEVER. back to Joliet or Bolingbrook for a good wholesome meal.

My husband and I went there for lunch and to be honest, it was the "WORST" buffet that I have ever been to. I have been to several of these establishments throughout the country, and this has been the worst one yet. Please don't eat here.

On 5/12/2014 I visited this restaurant after a funeral with thirty (30) members of my

family. Their greeter “Gertrude” escorted everyone to a room in the rear of the

restaurant and proceeded to tell us where we needed to sit in a very disrespectful

manner. When told we were capable of sitting together and would not take every table

in the room, “Gertrude” ignored us, and continued to tell my family exactly which chair

each person should sit. We asked to speak with the manager, “Jim” approached and the

situation was explained to him. “Jim” seemed annoyed that he had to speak with us

period. When we told him “Gertrude” was disrespectful and we did not want her around

our family, he exploded and said “Donʼt start with me, this is not a private room”, turned

his back and walked away.



That afternoon I filled out a complaint form on the Golden Corral website with a return

call promised from the franchise owner.



On 6/6/2014, almost a month later with no return call, I phoned corporate and spoke to

“David Poulter” who told me “Golden Corral is a franchise, and it is up to each individual

franchise owner to investigate all claims and delegate any punishment or restitution as

they see fit". Very strange.



On the morning of 6/17/2014 I called “David Poulter” again to inform him that I had not

heard from the franchise owner “Bhavin Patel”. Mr. Poulter told me he was outside of

the Tinley Park location and he would ask Mr. Patel to call me. Around 2:30 that

afternoon I received a call from “Bhavin Patel” after waiting over a month to tell him

about our negative experience in his restaurant, his tone was not only negative but

degrading. “Bhavin Patel” is a very cold and insensitive man, and it is unfortunate that

he is able to own a business that deals with families.



In conclusion I am sincerely

disappointed with Golden Corral as, my experience with them has been deplorable. We

should avoid spending money with a franchise that condones the disrespect of their

patrons with no possible fines or penalties from the corporation they represent.

Litterally the worst place in the world. The service here sucks @$$ except a few waitresses and the management is awful and I think a little racist. A man in uniform was walking around and a black man said can I have a fork and he said he didn't work there then sat a table and said he would call a waitress to there table then went into the employees only door. Not to mention the coustomers, they were rude, terrible people. Not to say my family can't be a little loud and obnoxious but they were yelling, pushing, being slobs and touching all over the food and a man was trying to fight his daughter or some teenager that was with him and almost got put out. I must say the food is great and the cooks and some servers were good people but if you go, make sure its a weekday and around lunch or right when they open.

The worst buffet i've been to. The line was extremely long, took hours to get in. Then the managers were really anti-social, They didn't talk much... not even to say "Welcome to Golden Corral!" You can't sit with family if you have a party over 10. The place is always packed, and there is always people walking over your food. The only good thing about the place were the servers. We had a really out-going, beautiful, young lady named Dajonae (spell check). So if you choose to go to this 2 star restaurant be sure to ask for her... Outstanding service!

This place is excellent! The food all tastes great and the staff is polite and helpful. The dining area is a little tight so maybe avoid the dinner or weekend rush but foodwise very good.
