My first impression of Ruby Tuesday was of an upscale restaurant. The decor was all done in darker colors with low lighting, a classier establishment. The dining room was almost empty and we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly and helpful, she even brought me a kids menu when I requested it. We placed our order and received our food shortly after. We ordered an appetizer of fried mozzarella sticks to share, he ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, and I ordered the kids chicken tenders and substituted the fries for white cheddar mashed potatoes. The food was delicious. My personal favorite was the mashed potatoes, and my boyfriend could not stop raving about how the sandwich was just the right amount of spicy. The price was reasonable too, our total check came to about $30. Overall it was a great experience. There are only a few locations, but it is well worth the drive. I would recommend it to anyone.
We like to go to Outback to celebrate birthday dinners. On this visit, we had signed up online for the frequent diner reward program. One of the other couples in our group had completed a survey for a complimentary bloomin' onion. Our meal was just fine, as we knew it would be. However, the computer system was having tech difficulties. Since our cc had already been run, it was not possible to go back to take the proper discounts off our bill. NO WORRIES MATE! The manager, Matt, came by our table to apologize for the inconvenience. Matt talked to us like valued clients, and was able to get us new "bloom cards" to use on our next visits. The value on the bloom cards exceeds the amount of the discount we had hoped to use on this visit. YAY US. Thanks Outback team for a great dinner, we will be back for sure.
Every time I pass through Tempe on a business trip I always eat at Monti's. This is a steak house worth trying if you like your steaks like I do. The filet mignon and the New York strip are fantastic. If your planning to take a large group, or a small party for a special occasion, try their Roman bread. My kids call it Elven bread because they could live off of its goodness. I am sure that if you were to try this place, you would be as satisfied as I was.
