We unfortunately had to file for bankruptcy, and after we received our discharge, we knew we needed to re-establish some credit, but we also had to clean up our current credit because our attorney let us know she wasn't going to do that stuff. The payments that we were making on our vehicle were no longer updating on our credit report even though we signed a reaffirmation on it, and a few of our other lines of credit that we did not claim in the BK also had a few issues. We originally started to do all of this ourselves, but quickly got sick and tired of all the nonsense. Neither my wife or I had time for the games the creditors like to play--"we didn't receive the fax", "we never received the reaffirmation letter, can you re-send it?", "we need proof of payments", etc. We called Credit World, set an appointment, met with Keith, and he said he could fix our credit. We paid him $500, and he went to work; He did exactly what he said he would, and today we're back to respectable credit status. Was the $500 worth it? ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY!!!! I don't wish that crap on anybody.
