I have lived in many places, and have had various artists, some with a greater or lesser degree of talent. I can usually tell within the first five minutes of being in a parlor if I am going to enjoy my experience, and either stay, or leave accordingly. This type of prejudgement might be considered inappropriate, but hey, it is my body, and I consider the art of tattooing to be somewhat still kind of a sacred ritual, so I am okay with that. After hearing from a friend the name of this company, and the exceptional experience they had, I looked them up online for me and a visiting friend to go to so we could get some artwork done. Within a few seconds we were greeted and were already discussing our desired concepts with a very enthusiastic artist. That set me at ease in a moment. He was serious and attentive, and obviously loved what he did... Three qualities that I think a great artist should have. After designing our custom works, which were better than the designs we had in mind anyways, he set to work on us efficiently and with great care, resulting in that zen experience I strive for. After staying open almost two hours late to create that immaculate piece of work, instead of rushing to get out on time, said a lot not only about his ethic, but the company that took the time to find such a great asset as well. Suffice it to say we left more than pleased and with an even better sense of assurance that we would definitely come back for more. And I did, a week and a half later, with four family members, to an even better experience. A new idea, a different artist, and an even better environment. Always clean, it was freshly renovated and with a positive vibe. In moments we set to work with our individual artists to change a concept into a piece of reality. I was taken into a different room this time, with the same exceptional clean standards of my previous visit. I cannot speak for the others in my party, but they all said they shared the similar experience I will relate. My artist was dilligent, attentive, serious, and very professional, but with a good personality and a steady hand. It was easy to get lost in the feel of the tattoo, and I liked it more as it was a little quieter in this room, where you could get more into the sensation of the machine. Hours passed like minutes, and it was really a terrific experience. Once again, the staff stayed open late to make sure everyone in my party was happy with thier individual custom pieces they selected, and sent us off with a welcome invitation to return. I'm sure we will defintely take them up on that offer. We felt so good in fact, that we went to the casino to win some money afterwards, which we did! Can't beat a night like that! Thanks guys!
Hi there guy's. First let me start by telling you guy's how nice and cosy it is at Fathom Tattoos. The shop is very clean and there is art everywhere. I was interested in getting a Koi Fish tattoo and didn't really know where to go. I asked a good friend of mine who she recommended. She told me to about this really great shop called Fathom Tattoos, a real diamond in the rough. So I went in with her one day to find out a price and set an appointment. I've seen many portfolios online, but when I saw the artists portfolio at Fathom Tattoos I was blown away, every tattoo was magazine quality, That's when I knew I wanted to get my tattoo from the artist. The artist drew up the koi fish for me exactly how I wanted and it was the most beautiful koi fish I had ever seen. I was so excited I set the appointment right then and there. When I came in for the appointment it was great watching the process and seeing art come alive on my skin, it was amazing. Not to mention it didn't really hurt that bad. I am so happy I came to Fathom Tattoos to get my work or art. The art of tattooing has touched my heart, there is nothing like it, I thank you eternally. Thank you Fathom Tattoos for opening my eyes to a whole new world I never knew existed. I am now a part of living art. Thank You So Much :) Lacey Ann
I have wanted to get a vertical hood piercing for months, and am not from an area with a wide variety of piercing choices, and have not felt comfortable in any of my local shops. I came to Tamp, and did some research, and read a lot of reviews. One of the places I picked out was Platinum, and I am glad I did. It was a quiet day, and when I walked in Tino was available, so I explained what I wanted. He was very professional, and helped me select the jewlrey I wanted, a curved barbell. When he was done prepping the room he put on some music, and called me back. After cleaning and marking the area he asked me what I thought. Good, and I laid back. He took special care to make sure I was comfortable and had me breath in and breath out and then it was done. Unfortunately I pulled my legs together because I was surprised about the sharp pain that was not nearly as bad as the jump. But... no harm done, a true professional. I LOVE IT!!! The first day it barely bled. I am now on day 4 and day 3 was the worst of the bleeding, but I was very active that day, and went bowling. SO Thanks Tino!
