Bait and Switch
Budget Car Renters beware!!
We had a reservation for a economy car and booked the pickup for noon.
We arrived 11:30 (plane arrived early) and when we went to pick up our rental car...
The guy said we were too early "and our car was not ready"...
He offered us a upgrade for "Only $4.00 a day more"...
he said we would have to wait...
We declined and went directly to pick up the car...
Well, there it was... amoungst a few hundered other cars!!
We got in and left...
We were so angry that they lied and tried to get more $$$ out of us for no reason!
This was the Budget Car rental at the Tampa Airport.
Oh yea, we rented it for $26.00 per day and 3 days befor we left ...
they offered us $11.00 per day...
Beware of any upsale scamming car rental managers!!
