Enjoyable read from STampa Guy, but slightly psycho that him and his wife find a need to continuously post on review websites, but there are always ""those"" types of people! Anyways, just wanted to say that this place is great! Fabulous customer service, I've been in a few times and already the staff & owner know my name! I also love that the nail area provides enough room to come in with a group of friends. On my last visit I came in with two other girlfriends and we had a blast getting pampered and not being rushed! Besides nails - which they obviously specialize in, their esthetician, Audrey, is amazing with waxing! My brows looks great - thank you!!

I am writing this review in response to the owners comments to my wife after her review on YELP. WOW!! She found my wife on Facebook and sent her a note from Facebook. See the review that was posted on YELP and then the response to her from the owner. You make your decision. Please note that there was no altercation at the salon. Just a comment and then the comment from the owner. Nothing of this nature is worth a heated debate. Although the comments from the owner are worth posting for others to see. YELP Review ""I wish I could give this nail salon 0 stars! I was so excited to use a gift card and initially try this place out because of their eco-friendly attitude. I agreed with the first commenter that I did not experience that when walking in the salon. The owner directed me to her more expensive shellac and gel nail polishes, and I didn't even notice the normal nail polishes until my first few toes were painted. My nail tech told me there was a $15 difference, so I asked her to redo my toes with the normal polish. Then my nail polish bubbled and the poor nail tech had to redo more of my toes. Finally upon my exit, I gave the owner my gift card and offered my suggestion that she be more forthright about what nail polish options a customer has. She could have cared less, and she had the audacity to tell me, ""It would just be better if you don't come back."" I couldn't believe it!!! With SO many other great nail salons in South Tampa, I will not support this one!"" ______ Now, here is the owners response to the review VIA FACEBOOK. ______ Date: Thu, 30 Jun 2011 11:35:34 -0700 To: *** From: notification+kijuj31d@facebookmail.*om Subject: Crave Spa sent you a message on Facebook... I would love to address your fabulous Yelp post because we knew YOU would post! I think your opinion on Crave or myself resonates a little deeper than maybe you want to elaborate because clearly you have a problem, and you had one the moment you came into the spa! I have never addressed a client the way I addressed you, but it was warranted for me to tell you not to come in here again! Learn how to correctly speak to someone before leaving - if you had an issue you should never attempt to talk over someone while someone is on the phone with a client - wait until it is your turn to speak, or until I hang up the phone! Our staff ALWAYS informs a client that Shellac is an additional charge, so you knew prior to her even applying it on your toes! As for me pointing you in the wrong direction, I never pointed you to anything except asking which essential oil you preferred. You were not a client prior to the gift certificate, and we will gladly not have you as a client in the future! I am sure some other spa will welcome YOU with open arms because you were definitely a joy to work with at Crave! Joezette Crave Spa I am not by any means telling people not to go to the salon. It may have been a bad day but the email Joezette sent was totally unacceptable and unprofessional for any business. Especially the owner. She should have responded respectfully on YELP but she did not. Again, maybe a bad day but in any circumstance bad Karma. Time to focus on what is important. Customer service.

From start to finish my experience here was fantastic. I will never go anywhere else. They do not use any harsh chemicals, so you never have to worry about leaving with a headache. I felt so relaxed afterwards. You HAVE to see for yourself! You won't be disappointed :)
p.s. you have to try shallac! it stays on for at least 2 weeks and dries instantly!
Until Crave opened its doors last year, I had no idea there were harmful chemicals I needed to avoid. I love the fact that everything my hands and feet touch when I get a mani/pedi is either brand new or sterilized, not wiped down with a towel and a little soap. Not only that, the staff is friendly and creative. I love Crave Spa and I recommend it highly!
We have needed something like this - a nail spa that offers quality at the same price as these gross places that immerse you in chemicals! Can't say enough about this place! Sundays are SO fun - love mimosa Sundays with my mani! :)
AMAZING Nail Spa! I have tried most the staff at Crave & have loved every experience! For only $35 you get treated to a luxurious mani/pedi! Plus this is the go-to place for Shellac. My shellac lasted for 3 weeks! The best part is this place feels like a spa- it doesn't smell like those other places!
