I recently went in there with a bunch of beginner questions regarding my old ancient dinosaur of a compound bow. They were super helpful and friendly and took enjoyment in my enthusiasm to ask questions and try new things. They even let me shoot their personal bows and a demo bow to allow me to compare. Jonathan was a great listener and developed some customized responses to my questions that suited my interests. They both were extremely welcoming and it reminded me of just what it was...view more like 6 years ago when I used to go in there as a high school student with the old owners. The current owners took over around 5 years ago and they run a business that does not push sales. They love to let customers try it before they buy it. I spoke with these guys for over an hour and didn't spend a penny, but they remained just as committed to educating me. They are wonderful ambassadors to their sport. When I'm ready to upgrade, I will make sure they get my business.view less

We traveled to Orlando for an indoor shoot. We had brought all we needed to practice outdoors, but needed to practice indoors. We made the trip to Tampa to try out Arrowhead. Well worth the trip! Great people, great customer service! They set up a target for my daughter at just the distance she needed and even let my younger daughter try out a bow. Can not say enough about the wonderful people. We have been to other places around the country and this was by far our best experience. Years ago, I was introduced to Bow Hunting. It is only the 'norm' to end up meeting the Arrowhead folks living in the Tampa Bay area. No hard sale, No pressure what so ever. Good size shop with just a bunch of enthusiastic owners/employees to show me ALL about Bow Hunting, from the basics to advanced and GOOD equipment. Oh, it gets better!\r
About 3 years ago, after doing some general gun hunting with my better half (and daughters!), I decided to entrust Arrowhead folks with t...view morehe rest of my family and introduce them to Bow Hunting. We purchased more gear (4 complete bows and accessories). Arrowhead folks are even accomodating our 8 year old daughter (another future hunter!).\r
We thorougly enjoy this family owned business (better attentiveness) AND, because Arrowhead has an indoor range (20 yarder), we can practice and get sound advice all at once and enjoy the commoradory of fellow hunters. And dig this...I had a new bow set up, went to take my first practice shot at the range and a cam snapped. IMMEDIATELY, Arrowhead had a new bow torn down to replace my CAM! I was back practicing within a 1/2 hour. Must be because they REALLY care about their clients!\r

My novice friend ""dry-fired"" my brand new Mathews Reezen 6.5 bow my wife had purchased for me from Arrowhead and given to me for Christmas. It shattered...as would any bow...and when I took it in for repair, they were FANTASTIC!!! The cam and string had to be replaced which, of course, then required a new set-up. I said I was scheduled to go hunting in 2 days and when they checked for replacement parts, they didn't have them in stock. So...they took a brand new bow out of the box, to...view moreok the needed parts off of it and repaired my bow WHILE I WAITED!!! And, because it was a Mathews, all at NO CHARGE!! It could not have been better and I just wish I could give them many more than the 5 stars I am limited to. I cannot recommend them highly enough. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!view less
As a novice and young customer, my son was treated with kindness and respect. The merchandise and equiptment are amazing. The indoor range allows my son to meet others who share is interests AND pick-up tips to help him with safety and technique. We would definetly recommend Arrowhead Archery to anyone in the Tampa Bay area- it's worth the trip.
