I find myself always looking through fashion magazines like Cosmo, Elle, etc... trying to find the hottest new looks and what I want to look like. The problem that I used to always run into is the inability to find a stylist to complete my "celebrity make-over." I've been through dozens of stylists that can't do it but say they can, and I've been disappointed more often than not... Then I met MEGAN TRIVETTE who is a new stylist at Primp Salon in South Tampa. She is the absolute best! I felt extremely comfortable that she could make me look how I've always wanted. 1st of all, when I met her I thought she was a celebrity herself. She was right out of one of my magazines! I felt like I was on Entertainment Tonight and I was about to get my hair done by a celebrity. MEGAN shared a striking resemblance to Eva Mendes or Jennifer Lopez. and had the style and personality to match. Throughout my awesome experience I learned that MEGAN TRIVETTE has a wealth of experience working with celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, etc... She also has worked on a variety of movie sets and Victoria Secrets photo shoots. WOW!!! Here I am sitting in the chair of an official Celebrity Stylist right here in Tampa! MEGAN recently moved here from LA and was trained by Paul Mitchell there and Bumble and Bumble in NY. MEGAN also introduced me to an exclusive product line, Kerastase (the Gucci of hair products), which Primp is like the only carrier of, while treating me to the best shampoo job that I've ever had in my entire life! My whole experience was perfect! MEGAN was funny, honest, and very welcoming, and all of those things made me look forward to coming back with regularity. You can't beat it! For the price of a hair-do I felt like I got my own personal image consultant that made look great, as well as feel great! Talk about getting your monies worth... I highly recommend MEGAN TRIVETTE and Primp! Make your appointment quick because she won't be a Tampa secret much longer!!!

I never thought I would be admitting that I received a spray tan but if there are other guys out there like me I feel they could benefit from reading this. I love to be tan but I hate the effort, I hate laying out and I always make fun of dudes who go “fake and bake”. I don’t like taking the time to go to the tanning bed on a regular basis. I tried to go to a booth spray tan once too. I went to this place called zoom, and the tan and experience there was horrible. It left me orange and streaky and the woman working there was not helpful at all. She could not assist me in any of it and being that it was my first spray tan I needed help for sure. After my tan was horrible I felt I just did it wrong so I went back and explained to the other girl at the place what happened last time. She was more helpful but unfortunately I had the same result. Then through a random conversations I heard about this girl named Amanda who came to you and did the spray tan by hand. Since it was fairly inexpensive I figured I’d give it one last try. I knew it was at least worth a shot because every girl I knew that talked about Amanda was gorgeous and I knew they wouldn’t be going somewhere subpar. Amanda was awesome from my first visit. She spent time with me at first asking me what I wanted, what my previous experience was and he really alleviating any of my original concerns. I was still leary of what the finished product would be but I had an amazing color after the first spray and it was so smooth and natural looking. It was so simple too because it seemed like I was getting sprayed by one of my own friends not a stranger. Amanda has turned me into a loyal customer and I will continue to go to my once a week appointment on Friday’s so I can look great Saturdays and Sundays on the beach. She’s the best.
I had such an amazing experience at this place from the moment I walked in. Even though they're "appointment only," I walked in off the street on a Sat. afternoon and asked if they had any openings then and there. They said yes and were so cheerful. I had my little baby with me and instead of being annoyed like some places, the ladies all gathered around and cooed over her and made her happy - it REALLY helped. Most importantly, my stylist Andi listened to me and had great ideas. We ended up cutting off at least 6" and I look totally different and I love it. Andi was really friendly and the owner, who came over and met me, gave me a discount for being a first-timer. I'm DEFINITELY going back, probably requesting Andi. She said that all the stylists are trained exactly the same way so that all cuts are consistent, no matter which stylist you get. I can't believe someone on here complained that they have a lot of Muslim clients and therefore no male stylists. If you have a problem with Muslims, buddy, maybe you should move to the sticks in middle of nowhere...I especially liked Paris Salon because there was every kind of woman there, enjoying herself and getting some much-needed pampering. We ALL need that sometimes!
