The 4 Amigo Enchiladas was good! There is a good mix of spicy meats and less spicy meats as well as spinach cheese and patatoes in the 4 different enchiladas. The sauce was a normal cheese sauce, not a sour cream sauce. It was quite good. I will have this dish again. The Verde Soup, on the other hand, was a bit too spicy for me. Now, I habitually take about half of the jalapeño out of my food, so ymmv. The true problem with the soup was I ordered a cup and was brought a bowl. When I pointed this out to my server she was apologetic but did not replace the bowl with a cup and I was changed a bowl. This, I think, is a first day shake out problem. The decor is normal Americanized Spanish, scenes painted on the walls. The lighting needs a little work - I used the flashlight on my phone to read all of the descriptions in the menu. Again I think this will be worked out soon, first day (or week) shake out problem. The food is brought out on carts so there is none of the watching servers carry large trays with 5 dishes, waiting for the server to drop it. The carts didn't cause problem for patrons walking around the floor. All in all this was a good lunch. I ordered the soup knowing that it would be a new dish to me - so I was not too upset that it was too spicy for me. The enchiladas were very very good, and I plan to have them again. When I go back later, after they've been open for a bit, I plan to go for dinner and try some of the intriguing looking tequilas.
As I have just recently moved to the Tampa Bay area about a year ago for a job transfer I have not really had to much time to go out and venture into the wonderful world of dining out. A couple of days ago a friend of mine asked me if I've ever heard of Bin 27 and asked if I would like to go. Being that I finally had a little bit of time to go out I decided to take a leap of faith and give it a try. When walking inside Bin 27 I was very impressed with how the staff treated you when walking in the doors. The atmosphere was nice and the place was very clean. For starters we ordered the Fried Goat Cheese and it was amazing. After that we ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon and Ropa Vieja and decided to split both. It was fantastic. Everything was cooked on point, and it was great. The overall experience at Bin 27 was really good and they just made a customer for life.
Bin 27 Bistro is outstanding. One of my favorite places to go when I'm in Tampa and I will tell you why. Places like Bin 27 are a dime a dozen especially in Tampa. One of the first things you will recognize when walking in Bin 27 is the layout and the atmosphere is top notch. The food is some of the best around and is prepared by skilled chefs. One of the things I really like about Bin 27 is that they have changing specials every week so it keeps everything fresh and different. I think that is very important because it gives you something different to choose from every week. So If you are looking for a nice venue with a laid back atmosphere and out of this world food, then Bin 27 is your place.
