Horrible wait time. No reason to wait 90 mins with an appointment. Too many patients. They have way too many things going on

He is two times board certified in internal medicine, having completed his residency at the Cleveland clinic. He is a volunteer Preceptor for University of Miami School of Medicine, Nova Southeastern allopathic Medical School and their Physician Assistant Masters program as well.

Ultrasound
An ultrasound is a test which utilizes a high frequency sound wave similar to sonar. There is no radiation involved and the examination is painless. The test can take anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes. A small ultrasound probe is passed over the area to be examined while images are printed on hard copy to be kept in your permanent file.

"Fred Appelkvist is an Ultrasonographer at our office. He has been with Medical Associates of Tamarac since 1990. He specializes in procedures such as Echocardiography, Vascular and General Sonography, and Nerve Conduction Studies.
