Hidden Harbour Apartments

I move in to hidden harbour in February of 2015 to be closer to work. This has been the worst experience I have had at any community that I live in lies after lies and just plain incompetent. When I saw unit on their website it was listed for $1015. I quickly came in and gave a deposit to the manager there at the time and my lease was coming to end at my previous location. The manager called me a few days later telling that the website was wrong and that she can let me have the unit for $1090 but even that was not enough for the District manager, she wanted $1109 and because I had already run out time to find another unit I had no choice but to agree to that amount. I contacted corporate letting them know what happened and they refuse to help. At the time there was a tenant living there and management told me that he was getting evicted and I thought that was harsh and unprofessional to put out his business like that. I was never shown the actual unit until the day I was moving in. Instead I was shown a fully renovated unit and my thoughts was all the units would look the same. The day of moving in, the apartment was not ready and the cabinets were old mismatching and just far from what I was shown. They are basically charging me the price of a fully renovated unit for a non renovated unit. The carpet seem to have just been clean and not change and bathroom was dirty. It took about three months for maintenance to do anything and all the did was paint white over the old cabinet in the bathroom and kitchen instead of changing them. The kitchen appliances are old with bad odors (dish washer). The only thing that looks new are the light fixtures and fans everything else were painted over to look new. In July I made a payment on the 3rd but because of the holiday they did not get it until the 5th so the charge me a late fee of $100 and then if a few more days goes by they charge another late fee of $100 for the first late fee which seems like a shady practice to me. I was told that water and sewage would be about $20 a month but every month it's about $60 and it's attach to the rent so you are force to pay something that can't be monitored because they don't have a system in place and they will charge you whatever amount the feel they can get away with. Now I am been threaten for eviction because they blocked my online resident account and refuse to accept my payment for an amount that they themselves requested now they are saying I have to pay lawyer fees and no eviction have been filed yet. It seems that they are force evicting tenant so that they can charge more for the unit to new tenants which is what I think they did with the previous tenant there before I moved in.

Drug dealers on site, management involved. Roaches, rats, dog poop, discrimination, racism, drugs. You name it! Welcome to Hidden Harbour!!! Management is involved in using and covering drugs up.
