A 2010 review

I see 2 reviews here from 2005 & 2008 and thought I'd give a more current perspective. I wasn't eating here during those years - maybe the reviews were very accurate. All I know is that I've been eating there for over a year and find the food to be quite good for a Chinese "fast food" type restaurant. I think the prices are reasonable, the food good, and the staff very good!! Maybe they changed owners or something, but I'd suggest you give them a try now.

$30.00 mistake

I just 5/24/08 ordered general Tso's chicken,$9.25.It sucked,it was like folded over chicken skin.Tasted chalkey too.I tore about 8 peices apart,NO chicken just parts. The order of fried wonton crab ragoon $4.00,sucked.Cold and old WTF.Next,House special egg fo young $8.00.I think they made this under their sink,I had some, ended up with some kind of hard bone/cartilage in my mouth. So much for that dinner, and never again! The two soups egg drop, and veg.fried rice I heard were o.k.

A typical fast food chinese joint

I've eaten at both locations of the Great Wall in Tally and wasn't all that impressed with either. I've had the Orange Chicken and General Tso's Chicken each time I went and the two were practically indistinguishable from one another. The fried rice is okay and the egg rolls, well they're okay as well. This place didn't fulfill my craving of good Chinese food and simply reminded me of a fast food Chinese joint. Nothing special, a dime a dozen, food with little character and that will leave you full but not satisfied. And make sure you bring cash if you go by yourself... they charge an additional $.50 if you use your credit card/check card for orders under $12.00.
