My husband, best friends and I stumbled upon this beautiful resort, nestled in the woods of the California coast of Lake Tahoe 10 years ago, and have been back twice since. (we all live in Ohio). If you go to anywhere in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area, take the trek around the Lake for some of the most scenic photographic moments you'll ever experience! Sunnyside serves the freshest seafood, and beautifully prepared dishes on their spacious deck, with a magnificent panoramic view of the L...view moreake, as well as some of the majestic homes to the left and right, which are nestled in the pines. The also serve undoubtedly the BEST (and prettiest) Bloody Marys I have ever tasted, with fresh herbs and seasonings in them (no mixers here!) Last time I was there was April 2007, and they were not open for lunch, however, I took my brother outside to the lakefront deck to show him the beautiful views, took pictures of the snow capped mountains across the Lake, and actually walked barefoot in the chilly water! I am proud to wear my Sunnyside apparel, and can't wait to return...hopefully for a longer visit next time!view less
