I sell quite a bit I'f scrap gold and silver plus coins and sterling table ware they pay higher than anyone else I've found up to 85 percent of spot which after smelting leaves them a very thin margin, there friendly, knowledgable, and fair, give them a call for pricing but nothing beats taking your items in for instant appraisals, never ever go to the b&I can't believe he's still in business, ijs, good luck everybody, GO SEAHAWKS

A decent and reputable place. I buy and sell bullion here from time to time, and a single lot of rare coins, and the premiums here are very reasonable. Their daily bullion pricing is based on the NY spot price, and they'll happily quote them over the phone. The only other comparable bullion dealer is up in Bellevue. Other local dealers I've found here or in Olympia charge much more in commissions, which is nothing but theft on bullion sales. Caveat emptor! If you're buying, call first to make sure they have what you want because they do a brisk business.

I have done numerous purchases and sells through this coin shop. I have NEVER been to a better place that takes quality care of its customer. Top notch friendly customer service (Eric, Michael, Kyle) whom I primarily deal with. Very fair prices and are always willing to help with advice, knowledge and even takes the time to educate. Store is very clean and neat. I would recommend this shop to ALL. Thank you for all your help and look forward to shopping again. Ben

Best Coin and Stamp Store in the Greater Tacoma Area

I would highly recommend this coin store if you are buying/selling coins. Karen (the owner/manager) is friendly and honest. I talked to several dealers in the greater Tacoma area over the past several months, looking for a coin dealer that would offer me a fair price for the coins my Dad left me before he passed away last year, and Karen is the only dealer that offered me a fair price. In the future, I will only buy/sell coins with this store!!!

Fun place to learn about coins

I stopped into this coin shop and was pleasantly supprised by the service and interesting atmosphere. I had a few questions about some specific coins I had been researching online with little results. They were very helpful and not only answered my specific questions but we ended up taking a few dog-legged coin toppics that were more fun than my original quest set out to be. Long story short, I ended buying two marvelous coins from them and have already been back to see them many times. I always leave with a smile on my face and a little more informed. And no the place is not junky, it's a real coin shop where real dealers and collectors hang out!!

un-enjoyable coin collecting. next time kiss me first.

This store takes the Hobby out of collecting. I was hoping to upgrade previously purchased coins for others of the same type but in much better condition. I was first told I would have to pay for a coin appraisal but if I sold the coins I would be refunded half of what I was charged. I then asked about a store credit for my coins and was rudely offered less than half of what I paid them originally for the coins. And when I asked the question about why such a difference in buy and sell pricing I was told that they were no longer interested in my coins.I learned the hard way again. They were sure nice when I bought the coins from them the first time.WOW, I sure did learn my lesson.

JUNK

Junky store with barking dogs. The door locks behind you as you walk in. As the dogs jump onto the counter barking at you it is impossible to make your retreat due to the door being locked. Luckly there is a release button to the left of the door for those of you who need to leave before being attacked.

Like most precious metals dealers, these folks are pretty grumpy at first. If you have the patience and resources they warm up considerably after you spend a few thousand dollars. Their prices are fair, though you will get no "deals" here. If you are looking to sell more than a few $ worth of metal google NWTM in Auburn. I read the other review and I don't know which "elsewhere" they mean, you only have 2 other choices in town; B&I is a one man op, he can be OK but if you don't click with him you can't wait till someone else is working. Stay away from Goldmasters...I'm serious...you have been warned!

Got it all Coin Shop

I stopped in at Tacoma Mall Blvd Coin shop to pick-up several fillers for my coin collection. I had been to this shop one other time while living in the area, but this visit was due to a Christmas visit to nearby relatives. The shop is somewhat "junky" but they do have an air of organization and everything a collector may wish to purchase. The two female clerks (Owners?) are a hoot. Friendly and helpful service with a bit of humor. I'm positive that long time customers enjoying paying them a visit! The displayed selection of coins was extremely good. Anything you don't see - JUST ASK! They also deal in some jewelry. During my short visit they had a wide range of customers wishing to purchase items from coins, stamps, jewelry and other collectable items. I believe you'll be satisfied with the selection, sales and service of the Tacoma Mall Blvd Coin Stamp & Jewelry shop!

LIARS, AND THEY ARE NOT FRIENDLY AND FAIR.YOU WILL GET MORE MONEY AND HONEST ANSWERE ELSEWHERE.PRETEND LIKE YOU INHERITED THE COINS AND DON'T KNOW THE VALUE AND YOU WANT TO GET RID OF THEM, ONLY LOOK UP THE VALUES IN A COIN BOOK BEFORE YOU ENTER THEIR STORE. TAKE NOTES BECAUSE IT'S HARD TO GET THEIR NOTES UNLESS YOU PAY FOR THEM AND THEN COMPARE THE REAL VALUES. THEY TRY TO MAKE YOU SELL THE COINS BY SAYING THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A LARGE FEE FOR THE COIN APPRAISAL IF YOU LEAVE WITH THE COINS. yOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY UNLESS YOU WERE TOLD ABOUT THE FEE BEFORE THE APPRAISAL BEGAN. GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE PROTECT YOURSELF. DON'T ALLOW OTHERS TO GET RICH OFF OF YOUR MISTAKES,
