*****VISIT STORE WITH EXTREME CAUTION PLEASE*****



I am a previous employee of this shop, was hired "indirectly" by the boss Glenn Ripple for about 7 months during the year of 2013. Indirectly meaning he basically put me to work because I loitered around the store frequently during summer. I agreed to run the store in exchange for $20-$40 daily pocket cash and a place to stay. Yes, that means I also lived with Glen at his house during the time I was employed here. Things went fairly smoothly for a month, except for the daily drama that seemed to swarm the home and store endlessly.



At times it made for an interesting day, then it began to escalate very quickly and become extremely out of control situation. One day coming home to Glens house I noticed 4 unknown teenagers sitting on my bed passing around a methamphetamine pipe. After clearing the house of them, I told Glen and was relieved to hear he never approved it and would handle the situation. He never did, and things continued to escalate. My items at the house began missing with no explanation, Glens choice in house guests had the police visiting us constantly. The end for me was when I brought my 5 year old over for a night to visit, with Glens permission.



About an hour after my daughter and I arrived, Glen decided to invite a homeless, heroine-addicted boy Joe over. I'm very familiar with Joe as he frequents the store attempting to swindle a few bucks from Glen often. Usually when he visits, he'll perform favors for Glen in exchange for his drug money. This night he came and used the bathroom immediately. When he stumbled out half hour later, my daughter had to go potty. I accidently walked her into a horror scene. There was blood on the toilet seat and heroin needles all over the floor along with bloody tissues. Glen fully knew this boy was an addict and would be using drugs but failed to inform me of his "get together."



I grabbed my daughter and immediately called grandpa for a ride to my mothers house. It wasn't long after that I moved the remaining belongings out of Glen's house and left my job at his store.



Since then I've pretty much avoided Glen and his crowd, except for the fact his gas bill was placed into my name and now he's refusing to pay the $600 bill he owes. The bill remained in my name even after I left. Big mistake. This is a major struggle for me as I'm a single father now attending college. I have absolutely no extra money to handle this bill that's now in collections and to this day Glen refuses to talk to me. Hopefully this honest review will serve him some justice he deserves, please be careful if you visit here. The antiques are great but this man is horrible in what he allows to happen. Of course I have much more to report but hopefully this will be enough to show I won't be bullied around. This man preys on young males in need of help, gets what he can, then leaves. Be Careful.
