On more than two occasions the Yellow Cab taxi drivers have accosted me for using a credit card to pay for their services. The two individual taxi drivers became upset and raised their voices when I asked to use my credit card to pay for my taxi rides. Both taxi drivers tried with no success to say that their credit card machines weren't functioning. They eventually allowed me to use my credit card, but with much disrespect. I did make a complaint via telephone with a dispatcher and received an apology. Although I received an apology, I believe that customers and the Yellow Cab management should be aware of their employees' poor customer service and dishonesties.
I haven't used Yellow Cab for 6 months so when I saw a charge from Yellow Cab I thought I was fraudulently charged. I nearly closed my bank account due to their negligence, but I decided I'd call the company to discuss and resolve the charge. An employee named AHMED made light of the 6-month late charge to my account, talked over me, refused my request to speak to a supervisor and finally hung up on me. Yellow Cab has awful customer service and negligent business practices. I will not use or recommend Yellow Cab's service in the future.
My driver asked me which way he should go. I told him the route to take. When we arrived he was a complete as***le and lectured me that the freeway would have been faster. This was after I gave him a $7 tip on an $11 ride. This was Taxi #330 (I think) I will never use them again.
Unreliable.
So, today I needed to be work at 2:30. I called yellow cab at 1:30pm asking for someone to come get me because my ride to work fell through. I gave them my address and they said, "Okay, no problem. He's on his way."
2pm passes and I call them. they say he showed up and no one was there and yet I got no call so that was a lie obviously as protocol is that once there, they call you. anyone who has taken a cab before knows this... so they say, "Okay, well he's just right down the street from you and will be there soon." so, i wait until 2:10 (as it takes at least 20 minutes to get to my job via car) and he STILL hadn't showed up so i call them again and let them know i was upset and that i shouldn't have to be late and the dispatcher says, "Ma'am, don't worry, i'll fix the issue for you. I just cancelled your ride. [Click]"
Thankfully my boss was understanding and told me to just call in when I complained that on principle, i should not be paying a cab company to get me to work late (as this was no cheap ride either. i work in another city).
Although I'm glad I am not fired, never in my life have i experienced such horrible service and I will never support this company ever again.
My advice: Go with Fort Lewis Taxi. They are cheaper anyways
