Smooth transition

The application process and when to apply was different from what we have experienced in the past. Robin explained how to apply in detail. I was consistent with calls to check on the property. When we had our walk through Linda was there checking over the property. She thoroughly went over everything that needed to be repaired and informed me on what needed to be done next. After we applied and was approved for the property Mike helped us set it all up. Team work makes the dream work. We give God all the glory and thank Double Z Property Management for a smooth transition into our new home.

WOULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR IF POSSIBLE!

Our rental unit, a duplex, was at 1312 175th Street Court East, Spanway, WA. The duplex was on 176th - the main drag between Meridian and Pacific Avenues. Incredible noise all hours of the day and night. Miserable in summer when you HAVE to have windows opened. Deafening noise. And don't even think you will be able to hear your TV with all the noise. Horse stables across the street caused a massive influx of large flies around the unit most of the summer. It was war between us and the flies as they constantly tried and suceeded to get in the house. Gross.

Septic backed up, were without toilet for days. Neighbor had it worse than we did - their solution was to have the carpet pulled up - sewege soaked carpeting - and put fans on the carpeting to dry it out. Smell was beyond horrible. He was without toilet for a week! We had to contact the septic company ourselves for them to come out and fix the problem. Never had anyone from the company stop or check out the disgusting problem. Backed up in the shower and tub. WE had to clean the crap out ourselves. Clearly they did not service or pump the septic as they should have.

The unit rented was not clean when we moved in, foot high weeds in the yard and flower beds full of weeds. All was marked on our in-check. We had over $2,000 in deposits, cleaning fees paid when we moved in. We received $286 when we moved out. "Linda" did the out-check, was very rude and condescending towards us and apparently took the opportunity to provide new carpeting, on us, to the owner. Charged us for weeding the flower beds! I rarely put reviews on-line but feel compelled to warn other potential renters to NOT use this company.

I would not suggest this rental company under any circumstances. I've been a renter for most of my life and I've never seen a shadier group of people eager to appropriate your money for their own betterment. Predatory practices to put it mildly. I feel ripped off and cheated. These folks need to be banned from renting to any JBLM civilian or military employees.

The worst

Worst and most unprofessional company I know...I am surprised they are still in business they like to drive by Ur house and if u share a driveway with Ur neighbors the Ur Def going to be regretting ..I got sent a paper in the nail for saying they did a drive by and notice a vehicle that wasn't mine.and got charged 40 dollers cause they sent a paper in the nail..In was reassured at the moving out inspection I would see at least half of 1500 dollers of my deposit cause there was just minimum cleaning which would be done no matter what I did.come to find our they won't explain why I'm not seeing my deposit back and then are saying I owe them 200 more ..I am disgusted with this company

Rented from Double Z for 4 years HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT

I rented from Double Z in Tacoma between 2007 and 2011. Initially, the duplex had black mold in the windowsills, which I cleaned up myself. The refrigerator was often failing, and we sent multiple requests to Double Z's management (Linda) and repair team to fix it. Their advice: turn off the fridge and back on 24 hours later-- which would've meant that all of our food would've spoiled.The rent was $925/month for a two bedroom duplex.. so high because it was in a nicer neighborhood. $925/month can get you a new home!The worst part of all was when I broke my leg and was on medical leave from work in 2010. I was able to keep up on rent for most months but one, in early 2011.Double Z sent me eviction notices from their attorneys monthly, and I advised them that I wouldn't be able to pay because of medical reasons (in other words, I was healing from a broken leg and pulmonary embolism and couldn't do overtime and took a lot of time off after I went back to work).In the summer of 2011, Double Z took me to court and I was sacked with $6000 of attorney fees, court fees, and the one month of rent that I missed. I was evicted.On the day I went to court, they pulled the same act with a poor woman recovering from a heart surgery and evicted her too!

TUB ALWAYS BACKS UP TOILET AND SINKS ALSO.SHE HIRES HER BUDDIES. HOT WATER HEATER BLEW FROM ITS SIDE,PLUGGED IN WITH AN EXTENSION CORD.( im lucky to be alive} UNIT IS MOLD INFESTED. THE LEASE YOU SIGN DOES NOT PRETAIN TO YOU. KEY WORD FOR THIS COMPANY IS DECEITFUL MANAGEMENT.SO PLEASE TURN AN RUN AWAY NOW. How can an owner get fired?

If i could give a "0" it would be a "Double Zero" maybe thats what the name actuall stands for. The only good experience I had was the first day in their office when I signed my contract. Move in day, the house was extremely Dirty and smelly, when I moved in, the walls (boogers and all) floors were in horrable shape. and the backyard had been hit by a hurricane of dogs. I had to go through the whole house and shampoo the carpet my self, bleach clean the walls and bomb with air freshener. My last week they couldnt find my checklist, I did the final walkthrough with the owner, and she was drilling me about all the damage to the walls and floors and dog damage and smell that was present before the move. I had dated picture proof with me of everything including the boogers on the walls and that sent her in to a bigger Cee U Next Thursday rant. Her additude finally took a 180 when I said I was going to rent from her again, thank god I thought of that. Do-not rent from her unless you want to start shopping at costco for your asprin.

HORRIBLE!

I just read all of the negative reviews about Double ZZ, and I have to agree with every single one! The cleaners were still cleaning when we moved in, and they did a horrible job! It was a guy and his wife, and they did a piss poor job! My property manager I'm dealing with is Christina and she is a lazy, unorganized, unprofessional for lack of a better word, idiot! We moved out on the 10th, she had to cancel our move out inspection because she double booker herself. She didn't do the move out inspection herself until the 23 of the month, and now is trying to charge us for lawn maintenance. Of course the grass is long, and there are weeds! We haven’t lived there for almost 2 weeks lady!! While we were living in the house we asked permission to paint a room for a nursery, we got permission from her and the owners and did everything they asked from us including getting a professional painter. Not once did she mention the possibility of us having to repaint the room to its original col

I viewed a house being rented by Double Z. Linda told me that it would be fixed up when I saw it. I thought that meant that the carpet would be replaced since parts of it were brown and crunchy. When we picked up the keys we were told there was nothing in writng and that Linda hadn't intended to replace the carpet. She said we could ask the owner, but with the house already.rented for a.year we knew there was no reason for the owner to replace it after the fact. The flyer we were shown said the house included a microwave. It did not and when I asked Linda about she said the receptionist made a mistake and no offer to fix the problem was made. The washer and dryer were not working and the repair people said it would be cheapest to replace them. The receptionist said if we purchased a washer and dryer we would be charged $25 per month less. After we purchased the equipment we were told that nothing was in writing, the receptionist hadn't made any offer and if she did she wasn't

Do not ever rent from this management company,very unprofessional!!!!!

Me and my husband are currently renting a property from them, 5 months into our lease we got notices on the door about default payments,i called Linda and told her about it,she said she will try calling the owner on the only phone number she has for him, she told me her obligations are to the owner and we have to stay until our lease ends or we get kicked out she also said she will keep me updated on whats going on and she never did,2 months later I called her again and said we have a foreclosure date set on the house and she needs to do something about it because we pay our rent every month and we should not be foresed to live here until we get kicked out, she just said fax it over and that was it.She is very hard to get ahold of,she never lets us know whats going on,shes very unprofessional and it also took her company 1 month to fix our dishwasher!!!!!!!!!!! So if you want to enjoy living in a rental DO NOT rent from them ,you will regret if you do!!!!! I have other people telling
