Hillside Children's Center is a part of Hillside Family of Agencies, which is a social services organization that offers several specialized services and programs. Through its affiliates and specialty divisions, the organization provides more than 100 services throughout the state of New York. Founded in 1837 as Rochester Female Association for the Relief of Orphans and Destitute Children, Hillside Children's Center serves youth with emotional, behavioral and mental disorders. The agency offers day treatment, education, therapeutic care, and home and community-based residential services. In addition, it provides individual and family therapies to children with emotional disturbance through residential cottages and community-based group homes. Hillside Children's Center maintains an office in Syracuse, N.Y.
