I made an appointment for hair cut and…
I made an appointment for hair cut and style on my first visit to this salon. I was greeted by two busy receptionists, but eventually caught the attention of one and checked in on time. She told me to wait upstairs for the stylist and offered coffee or tea. I went upstairs and after about 10 min came back down for some tea. After being ignored for an additional 25 minutes in the middle of a room full of stylists, I left the salon. I received a voice-mail on my phone afterwords from the hairstylist apologizing and offering me a free "treatment". I will not be taking the offer and found much better service about a block away at Main Street Salon.

I'd suggest this salon over any salon in Ohio. Being a former University of Toledo student and now a Florida resident, this place provides better service than any salon I have been to in both states. The atmosphere of the building is one that matches no other salon I have ever been to. The interior design caught my attention from the moment I walked in till the time I was getting my hair done on the 3rd floor. The staff was all very welcoming and Lindsay, who had never done my hair before, was well trained and I left a very happy customer. I would suggest this place to any of my friends!

Got A Great hair cut from Rene.
Got A Great hair cut from Rene....But her underling put in my color witch washed out in a week, was told to bad should have come back within 48 hours. I don't even wash my hair for 48 hours after a color!

Great experience every time
I used to visit Reve at the old location many years ago and after returning to the area I wanted to see Carmen's new place. What a great job they have done. From staff education to building design. It is all top class. I still go to Carmen for all my hair services and I have also received many other services- massage by Vicki, facials by Victoria and all continue to be great experiences.

Terrible Salon
In Feb 2010, Carmen put high lights in my hair and they broke off at the root. never have i seen this before,The owner was awful she gave me a treatment for my hair and that caused more breakage!!!!!!! Then she fixed my messed up cut and cut my hair way to short. David salon manager was awful to. I wish to put this nightmare in the past, but I will never for get this horrible exsperience!!!!!!!!

Very Displeased Customer
I have been a client since 2006. Monthly I was spending upwards of $150.00, until this month. After my usual stylist left, I was reccomended another. I went in for my usual color and ended up in tears! I was guaranteed my same color formula would be available to the new stylist. It was nothing that I had ever gotten. As a brunette I walked out with black hair! I called to let them know I was unhappy and they gladly made another appointment to have the color corrected. The appointment got pushed back a whole week due to scheduling! Once I arrived, the same stylist greeted me with "Whats wrong?" , no hello nothing! While doing the color consult she was very rude and placing blame on me for not communicating properly!! The results were the total opposite of the black, I was bleach blonde. Again in tears she got a manager who said it would be an easy fix. Reluctant I agreed and after being left in the shampoo bowl for 27 minutes, I was rinsed with a 1 minute shampoo and no conditioner. Back at the chair finally in front of a mirror I was back to the black again!! The stylist simply handed me my rubber band back without drying my hair and said "Have a nice day!" I will never be back.

New Life for my Hair
I visited Reve Salon and Spa for a Brazilian Blowout and wow, a treat in every way. I was told by Carmen that my course, thick, never have a cool style hair would be transformed and she was 100% right. Jen Fisher was sweet and meticulous and did a great job. Finally, I can go out in the humidity and not carry my ball cap with me. YEA...REVE!

Reve is the best
If you check out the last negative reviews you will notice that the reviewers on that same date all gave an opinion on a competitor(s). It looks like that competitor needed some help by some insider internet campaigning. How sad!! At any rate, Reve is simply the best. Go check it out for yourself!!!

Poor color and customer service
The stylist did not listen to me. She did not consult with me. She rushed me through. She doesnt care. I asked Carmen and she brushed me off.

A terrible experience
I recently traveled to reve to get a manicure and pedicure. My salon did not have any openings. I was terribly upset because the girl was very rude. And I didn't think the manager was on duty. I am not a loyal client but I will never return.

Salon looks good; terrible quality
Salon looks great; however, the service is awful. They need to do a better job training. Ive been there twice. They cut off my hair and did not listen to me.

Worth the Trip
This Salon & Spa has it all! Outstanding customer service, great products, and a large variety of services. My only wish is that they would open another salon in or around the Detroit area so I wouldn't have to drive over an hour to have my hair cut and colored. Until that happens, if ever, I'll keep making the drive to Sylvania, OH. It's well worth it!

Rarety of a Salon
I have been a client of one of Reve's hairstylists since she was in school. Not only have I seen Reve climb in status throughout the area but I have seen it transform from a small salon into a raving spa and salon. During this time I always received the same care and attention and warm welcomes no matter how many employees they have. Today I walk in and see the amazing look and attention to professionalism that Reve has always provided but also welcoming faces with each and every professional there. Not only is it an experience where I feel like a superstar but I leave looking and feeling better than ever each and every time. Thank Carmen and her stylists for bringing a taste of New York, Italy, Miami, Vegas and LA to us here in Sylvania.

In my many experiences @ Reve the service & professionalism has always been the very best. Their work is always guaranteed. Carmen & her team continually strive for perfection & satisfaction for every client. If your cut was not satisfactory you should have spoken to them. Had you done that you most likely wouldn't be airing your gripe here.

GREAT SALON!!!!!!!!
My Daughter and I Love Reve's. We both got awesome cuts. My daughter wanted a shorter style and the stylist helped her make a decision on what would look good for her. She went with a shorter style and it looked fantastic. My cut was just a few inches off the length and layers that flowed gently around my face. We were treated like we were their only clients and made us feel welcome. Great place for all they have to offer, nails, massage, etc... I had a massage once too, mmmmmmmmmmm, felt good.

A++ Salon!
Wow, this place is amazing. I doubt you'd find a more sophisticated salon in the big cities of New York, LA or Atlanta. The services they offer are extensive, the quality they deliver is unparalleled in this area. Whether you need a cut, color, nails, massage etc.... I cannot recommend Reve high enough!

Reve is one of a kind!
The first time I walked into Reve, I instantly fell in love. Upon stepping into the gorgeous European style restored building, I forgot about the busy and stressful outside world. The atmosphere is warm, positive, relaxing, and inviting. The employees cater to your every need and will do anything possible to make sure your day at Reve is memorable and one of a kind. They take the time to get to know you, answer any of your questions, and offer a friendly smile. Reve has really been expanding their already full range of services, so that you can take care of your needs at one place. They also go above and beyond traditional spas and offer collagen and botox among other things. They are up to date on their services and are constantly being trained by the best stylists in the world. They are also very educated and knowledgeable about all of the products they use and offer. Whenever I go in Reve, I always jokingly ask for an application because it is such a great environment and it would be a blast to work at the salon. I'm completely in love with everything about Reve. I've never had a bad experience. Every massage, mani/pedi, facial, up-do, color, and cut has been perfect and exactly what I wanted. As long as you articulate what you are looking for, then you will get it. I've heard of clients (I can count them on one hand in the five years I've been going there) who have not been happy with their service, but I also know that Reve welcomes them back to correct the issue they have free of charge. Reve aims to please and provide the best services. Also, as a college student...I can still say Reve is well worth every cent.

I know there is a little bit of europe in sylvania and that is REVE!!! Wow you would be so surprised to find a world class salon and spa that gives the most amazing personal service. I have been in spa in Baden Baden and this rates just as well ..u gotta experience it.! It you would not fall in love with the space, personnel or quality of serive i would not understand it...!

Best Salon In The Country
I have been a client of Reve Salon & Spa since 1999. I have hair, hands, feet, body, and face services done regularly. I travel a lot, in and out of the country, and have said many times that I am so spoiled by the best quality of services and friendly professional atmosphere that I have recieved over the years at Reve. I always make sure I get all of my services done before I leave town because I find myself ALWAYS comparing all other salons to Reve Salon and end up time after time, being VERY dissapointed!! I expect the best....

Worst haircut I ever had
I went to Reve salon for a new style and walked out with the worst haircut I ever had. The bangs were chopped straight across and the rest of my hair was cut into two levels not layers. One level was cut straight across below my shoulders and one level was cut straight across below my ears like the stylist grabbed my hair in a bunch and chopped it with scissors. You could not get a worst haircut at Walmart.
