        Watersildes are pretty good. lifeguards not so much. barely paid attention to the kids. seemed more interested in getting a tan. swim up bar is cool but not very family friendly once it gets late in the afternoon. by 5pm you cant see the bottom of the pool at the swim up bar. disgusting. smells like a frat house. and the cottages, well, dont stay in number 1. or 2. or probably 3 or 4. its midnight right now and i cant sleep yet again, because the music from the bar which is literally outside my door is, yet again, so ridiculously loud that i can hear every word of every song. and the best part is, NO ONE IS AT THE BAR. at least not that i can see from my windows, which is almost all of it. there is one little closed off part that i cant see but its very small and smells horrific that i cant imagine many people in there but who knows. even so, why does it have to be so loud in the outside part? family friendly? i think not. and yes, like others have said, its pretty far from everything else. anything you'd want to do in town is at least 30 minutes away and you have to pay a $3 toll each way. if you don't have a boat, and do have kids, i would not recommend this place.

        I planed a great weekend away from home every one told me about this place with huge water slides great food an clean rooms well don't always believe every thing our lovely weekend on the water turned into a disaster we got to the resort to check into our reserved room an we where told it wasn't clean so wee took the kids swimming to waste some time but the slides where down so we went to eat an a waitress in a swimming suit comes to take our order I was ready to leave but the wife said she really wanted to stay so we stayed took our food 45 minutes to get to us every thing was wrong over cooked an cold then the owner came to us to tell us our room was ready we told him about our experience there an he acted like it was an every day problem well we went to our to find hair in the shower an dirt in the refrigerator I went to tell the owner about this an try an get a refund an all he had to say was "well maybe you should have picked someplace closer to home" and refused to give a refund on any thing so here we are 250 miles from home a dirty room an 2 hungry kids who are upset hungry an want to swim "what a great adventure"
