Just went here last week to celebrate with family and friends. The service here is always top notch and you can tell the mark of a good restaurant by the fact that none of our water glasses were empty. We ordered the appetizer sampler which had a lot of fried foods but we all had a little and they were excellent. Next came the kabobs and I always order the combo kabob plate which gives you 2 different kinds, and I ordered the chicken and lamb. When it came out there were two huge skewers of meat and a mound of the softest rice you ever had. They take off the skewers for you which is probably for the best as I would of flung pieces of meat all over the restaurant. For dessert we had the pudding and baklava and both were a great way to end the evening.
Korean fast food chain just opened. Easy 4-steps to make 비빔밥 (bibimbap). They make you pick bowl style, rice (jasmine or brown), topping, and sauce. I've picked regular bibimbap + jasmine rice + 불고기 (bulgogi - beef) + original Korean spicy sauce (not really spicy). It was pretty good, but not quite as good as Korean restaurant I go. Oh, well, it is fast food after all.
Here's a quick tip for lunch: don't expect to sit down if you don't have a reservation. This place is packed like sardines during the lunch time since every employee in Silicon Valley wants to go here. If you are lucky enough to get in, the falafels and the veggie wrap are two items my group normally buy.
