I knew the bike I wanted and Bike World had it. The price was even reasonable. But the salesman flat out lied:
1. I was told that a stock part was an ""accessory"" that had to be purchased separately from the bike. NOT TRUE: the part in question (seat cowl) is provided by Suzuki with the bike... I have talked to dozens of other owners of this bike--none was told they would have to buy this part.
2. I was told that they had to ""run"" the bike to check the oil. The salesman said that the 15 miles they put on the bike beofre I took delivery were necessary for an oil check. NOT TRUE: Suzuki recommends letting the bike run on the side standfor 15 minutes--it's not necessary for the mechanic to take it for a 15 mile joy ride.
3. I was told that they had filled the tank with gas. NOT TRUE: two miles down the road the gauge read empty and the idiot light started flashing.
A good price is nice, but the terrible quality of service (and blatant lies) of the salesman mean I will never darken the door of this establishment again. If it were possible to give ""negative stars"" I would.
Steer clear of Bike World.
