Buyer beware- I was so happy to move here, beautiful property with great view of the river. The first few months were great. The property has been under construction for the last two years starting about four months after we moved in. The property was bought out by Pinnacle at the beginning of 2015 & we were warned by many friends and family members to be cautious with this company. We never could have imagined what the next few months would bring. We've had notices on our door nearly every week stating that they are entering our home for various reasons. They've invaded our balcony mid-day without warning- we're on the third floor so you can imagine how shocking it is when I man slams a ladder against your railing and hops onto your deck blasting music while you're sitting in your pjs with the back door wide open. WTF! Last week they told us they'd be painting our front doors, I get home at 6pm to find that our front door had been left unlocked all day while they waited for the paint to dry- not a single soul in sight keeping a lookout on our place. I walk inside to see that the painters tools and work vest are laying in our entry way blocking my path. Oh and did I tell you that they don't take responsibility for anything? They decided to pressure wash our front doorways one day without any notice and flooded two of my best pair of running shoes! Two weeks ago everyone in the community received a notice that we have to be moved out of our homes by August 31st due to a complete renovation of the property. A little over a months notice for about 500 residents to find a new place to live- some who've lived here for the last 15 years. We've been great tenants- have never been late on a payment, never had any complaints against us, and we're being kicked out along with our 500 or so neighbors with very little notice. My husband and I had trips planned for the summer and have had to cancel them just so we can plan a time to move. It seems Inhumane to be able to treat people so horribly. Competing with the rest of the community to find a place to live nearby has been a huge challenge. Our neighbors are all devastated & Pinnacle refuses to assist in any way. I went in the office to share my concerns after receiving the notice and might as well have been laughed at for not being able to keep it together. Bonnie the property manager seems nice at first but she is a horrible woman with no sense of empathy. I shared all of the concerns I've had while living here and all she could say was "well you don't have to live here". I went from sitting there crying to sitting in complete shock over how she was talking with me. She said that 90% of our tenants were going to reapply with them after the renovation but I knew that wasn't accurate- I let her know that we had talked with most of our neighbors and every person was just as upset as we were. She responded that she didn't need to prove any numbers to me. I never asked her to, but I can assure you that everyone living here would tell you the same. Don't move in to this hell hole. People are rude. Pinnacle raises rent constantly. No privacy. dobt waste your money on this place, you will strongly regret it.

Buyer Beware

Location is great enjoyed the River View when the weather is nice. Few issues to be aware of before you rent.

1. River flooded bottem apts twice in my time here do not rent a bottem floor dwelling.

2. Nieghbors can get loud. I would one family or two couples and kids from what I could tell 6 people in a two bedroom with there dog living below us for almost a year got very loud. I had another nieghbor back into her boyfriend in a drunken fight one night.

3 Document and photograph everything upon moving in and moving out. As well as hire a celaner. What you do will not cut it. Watch what they try to charge you.

I dont expect any apertment to be perfect but left rather disappointed and with a bad taste in my mouth from here.

Not as pet friendly as they sa...

Not as pet friendly as they say they are. If you're young or have dogs, don't even think about it. I have a dog who is apparently barking when I leave. She has a shock collar and an egg that omits a loud screech when she does. Both are always turned on when I leave. For the first few months, I had no problems. Then, after my 23 year old neighbor was chased out with complaints, all eyes turned on me. I got complaints every day. They would call me at work to tell me she is barking. Then, it finally stopped. For a month. Now, all of a sudden, they say she's barking again.

The funny thing about it, though, is that they say she barks at times when I'm home. And she's not barking. Other times, yes, I'm at work and I don't know what goes on. But because it seems inconsistent, it makes it hard to believe. But they also did lie to me and say the river flooded almost 10 years ago. My friend used to live here about 2 years ago. It flooded then. So, if they lied that time, why not lie again? It just seems fishy to me is all. They forced another young woman get rid of her dog as well. Want a retirement community? The place is perfect. Otherwise, go anywhere else. It's dead silent or ELSE.
