Doc Syn's Veterinary Care

Took our sweet baby girl, Marley, today for a bad earache. She got us right in and took great care of Marley ... although Marley didn't know it at the time :) We visit the mid/lower keys every year for a month with my two babies, Montego and Marley, our Goldendoodles. I will absolutely go back here anytime we need a vet while on our visit! Thank you Doc Syn's!

Worst vet in the keys. Avoid this place. I boarded my dogs with her and she over charged me tremendously. I boarded them for 4 days and then she charge me for 5 days. Then she decides to give my dogs ear washes and medicines and stool samples and then charged me for them all without even asking me. Then she adds on an office visit on top of all that!!! All I wanted was my dogs to be boarded while I was away. I never asked for an office visit or all these other charges. So I ended up paying over $500 to board my pet for 4 days. That's more than a hotel room!!! I tried talking to her and she is totally crazy. Do yourself a favor and find another vet. Avoid this place at all costs!! She is worse than a used car salesman. All she wants to do sell her products to you and make the most she possibly can when you walk in the door.

We had the WORST experience with Dr Syn! We desperately needed to board our dog and Dr. Syn was the only place that wasn't fully booked. We brought in our 5 year old German Shepherd who is not used to being in a kennel or away from us. After the first day I receive a call way after her office hours saying that he had really bad diarrhea starting that morning and that she had to do another stool sample, gave him antibiotics and anti diarrhea pills, had to wash and PAINT the kennel, give him a bath, and the list goes on and on and on! The bill came out to almost 300$ for ONE DAY! I decided to pick up my dog as soon as I could. The part I am most angry about is that she never even called to get a consent from me or my husband to start these treatments on him and to let us know of his condition! DON'T RECOMMEND!!!
