MedSpring Urgent Care - Sugar Land, TX

Everyone in the front office and staff were extremely professional. the facility was quite beautiful. The only problem here was the medical care. I went there for a painful elbow which was diagnosed as tennis elbow by my PCP over a month ago. I have been having this pain for 2 months total. My PCP never did Xrays, MRIs etc to confirm this diagnosis. Well, when the MD came in, she did a very quick history in which she asked me what my PCP had diagnosed me with. After asking me a few brief questions about my pain, she placed my elbow in the palm of her hand, moved my arm back and forth, and just said, "your doctor was right, it's tennis elbow". She then offered me steroids which I had already taken without success. I was told that I would be referred to an orthopedic doctor and she left. That was it, no Xrays, MRI, nothing to confirm the diagnosis. I was charged 50 bucks and my insurance was billed for absolutely nothing. I am still having pain in my arm and am not sure why. This was a total waste of my time and money. I have spoken with the chief medical officer who was professional and easy to talk to, but I am not sure if I will even get a refund for this very brief and pointless visit. All of the plasma TVs, wooden floors, and professional office staff in the world cannot fix inadequate medical care. I am very frustrated that I am still in pain even though I tried to take care of myself by seeking care at this clinic.
