Teru Sushi in Studio City was created in 1979 and opened to rave reviews at the beginning of the sushi craze in LA, It was the first in the Valley to combine fine Japanese cuisine with a warm and lively ambiance and is widely known for a consistently high quality of food and friendly efficient service.
Sushi can include co oked fish, shellfish and many vegetables. Vegetarian sushi is popular on the West Coast where many people prefer to eat no meat or fish at all. The main ingredient of all sushi is the rice, seasoned with sweet rice-wine vinegar to make it sticky and tasty at the same time.
Aside from being a delightful change in your diet sushi is low in fat and is also a very nutritious food. A typical setting of 7 to 9 pieces contains only about 300-450 calories; depending on the contents.

Still great after all these years
One of the oldest continuously operating sushi restaurants in the SFV, this is still a great place for fish. Prices are stil high,but at least you get quality for the price. Go for lunch when the prices are a lttle lower.
