IMJ hair Artistry sets the bar for high end African American hair care (she does all hair). The usage of the best hair care products is just the beginning. The owner Ivelyne Marie Jean is unbelievable, she is a total professional. She debunks the whole idea of spending up to eight hours in a salon to get a relaxer. She specializes in locks, color, amazing weaves (most of her clients, thanks to her care most have thick, long hair) and eyelashes. She is not a typical stylist. She will tell you what your hair needs, not what you want. She never overbooks her clients purposefully, which clearly puts her ahead of most stylist in the area. The salon is in a great location in Stoughton, MA. It has plentiful free parking. Ivie will take the time that she needs to with her clients. She wants them to come back. She wants EVERY experience to be like the first time EVERY time. She will be having a preview of her salon in the next few months...look out for the invite
The salon is nice and clean, but the interior needs some finshing work. My stylist was named Jeannie. She was very professional and knowledgable. She took extra care with my hair. She gave me a awesome shampoo massage. The salon is open every day except Sunday. The hours are very flexible. I was in in and out in short amount of time. The prices seem a little higher than other area salons.( I got a roller set and conditioner-it was $45). Only concern was there was only one operational hair dryer. My hair was bouncy and shiny and I received lots of compliments. I have already made an appointment to go back for my touch up.
The salon is located in a plaza, which at first made me wonder what it's appearance within would be like, I was pleasantly surprised! Trilogy Salon is a high class salon with great staff. Kerry, the owner, has been doing my hair now for 6 months and I look forward to her warm personality and excellent experience. I always walk out feeling beautiful and happy. All the services were competitively priced, you could certainly get a cheaper haircut else where, but you'd likely not walk out feeling like a million bucks either.
