I used to fill out the little cards left in the store for my opinion. Now they don't care anymore. I fail to see any real bargains in any goodwill stores, unless it is the last saturday of the month when all the clothing is half price. Otherwise everything is clumped into one price for all, UNLESS it is something nice and then they mark it even higher. A lot of things are donated to them by Target and other stores where I have seen the articles marked a lot less in the actual stores before it comes to Goodwill and then a higher price is placed. When stores like Macy's and Kohls are marking things 70-80% off, I think GW needs to keep up with the times. Also they have a section where new things are sold and their prices are $1.49-$1.98 where as you could purchase it at the dollar store for $$$$11111. The thrift stores in the area, ie Edgewood Thrift have half price specials every day. They pick out two colors for the week, let them go for 50% off and then rotate it every week. They also mark their articles price specific. Goodwill only offers specials 20% off. At Goodwill I feel taken. I think they should ask themselves everytime they mark something....would I pay my hard-earned money for that price?? Times are hard these days and people are shopping for bargains. People are coming to these shops to save money, not to pay more.
