Review:
My mother recently moved to the area so I purchased her a gift certificate for Mother's Day in advance. I live in Dallas, and I had the certificate in a Mother's Day card ready to be put in the mail when I misplaced it at work. I called and explained the situation to the receptionist, who checked with the manager and told me she couldn't do anything to replace it because it was against their policy. She asked me if I would like to talk to the manager, but then returned and said she was unavailable and would call me back. I did not receive a call back, and despite multiple attempts to get ahold of her, every time I called I was told she was with a client, unavailable, out of the store, or would call back. My boyfriend lives in SA so he actually went in to the store and the manager was again 'unavailable'. Since the card was misplaced in Dallas and the salon is in SA there was little chance of someone actually trying to use it. Someone at the hospital I work at actually found it and returned it to me, but after the way I was treated I wouldn't want my mother to go there. I called again and the manager actually answered, but when I began to explain the situation and ask if I could return the certificate, she cut me off and said she was busy and would call me back. I have been waiting several hours and the salon is now closed and she has yet to call back. I feel I was treated very poorly and that a good business should have a courteous staff and cater to the needs of their customers. I am unsure of the quality of their services but would not recommend this salon based on my experience.
