Boycott this restaurant!

I'm a francophile, and I always feel bad when Americans say how rude the French are. But my experience with Maurice validates every negative stereotype I've ever heard about the French. I was planning a party at the restaurant, and Maurice gave me a price for food and drinks. I went back several times to get a contract and clarify the details, such as the menu, and after about the third visit, Monsieur Maurice decides the price he quoted me was too low for his ""superior"" restaurant. I've never seen or dealt with anything like this in my entire life! It was unreal. He was about to outline the menu, then all of a sudden he decides that for the price HE gave me, he could not tell us the menu...we would just have to take what we got. After consenting both verbally and in writing, he changes his mind! You don't do business like this...EVER! So no wonder the restaurant has been doing poorly. Monsieur Maurice, GO BACK TO FRANCE, where your rudeness and unprofessionalism is tolerated! We do not treat customers like this in America!!!
