A Museum Every Person Should Visit
Provided by Citysearch
As someone who has been fascinated with the Holocaust for a very long time and has traveled to many different Holocaust museums and memorials, I was astounded to find an entirely new batch of information that I had never seen before. The museum is a very manageable size, which allows you to examine a vast amount of information quite thoroughly. Though the museum itself is not overwhelmingly large, everyone is handed a free audio guide, each of which offers you hours upon hours of information about the Holocaust as well as other relevant information about the time period. Possibly the most amazing part of this museum, however, is the opportunity to listen to a talk given by an actual Holocaust survivor. These talks apparently take place every single day and, like the parking and entry to the museum itself, they are absolutely free. \r \r All in all, my experience at the museum was absolutely amazing. Simply walking through the rooms and looking at the pictures or listening to an audio guide is an incredibly powerful experience. In addition, everyone working at the museum was extremely friendly and helpful, and I hope to return sometime in the future.\r \r I will definitely be recommending this museum to friends and family of all ages.
