During the process of selling my house, wind damage to the roof was discovered. I filed a claim with my insurance company, and contacted Kevin Larson from innovative construction and roofing. Kevin Larson and the insurance adjuster met on 5/6/13 to inspect my roof. It was concluded that the roof did have wind damage and needed to be repaired. Kevin Larson and the insurance adjuster both agreed the individual damaged shingles could not be repaired, and therefore the entire roof needed to be replaced. Kevin Larson was instructed by the insurance adjustor to collect documentation indicating the roof needed full replacement during the install of the new roof, and then provide the proper documentation to the insurance company after completion of the new roof. Kevin Larson and I then agreed on a time for installation of the new roof with the understanding that Kevin Larson was responsible for collecting the proper documentation during the installation. The job was completed, paid for in full, and I was instructed by Kevin Larson on 5/14/13 to not contact the insurance company in any way regarding the insurance claim, as Kevin Larson indicated that he would take care of everything. I requested a copy of the documentation on 5/21/13 from Kevin Larson because I still had no response from the insurance company, and I wanted to contact them myself. I did not receive the documentation from Kevin Larson so I contacted the insurance company regarding the claim. They also never received the documentation from Kevin Larson and the claim was denied. Over the next two weeks, I repeatedly attempted to contact Kevin Larson in an attempt to get the documentation without success. I contacted the Innovative Construction and Roofing Customer Relations Manager, Danielle Woodruff, as the last attempt to obtain the documentation. She informed me that there was no documentation regarding my roof. As a direct result of negligence from Innovative Construction and Roofing, the insurance company denied the claim and I was never reimbursed for the repairs done to my roof.
