My girlfriend and I chose this place for our Valentines Day dinner. We had a 7:30pm reservation. When we arrived the place was packed. This is a huge restaurant and when we saw it packed we knew it must be good. We had to wait about 15 minutes while they prepared our table. Not a big deal. We sat upstairs in the Florentine Room which had a beautiful view of the harbor, bay and city Skyline. The GF and I shared the Mussels Bordelaise as an appetizer. It was very delicious and a very generous portion. The garlic, parsley, wine sauce was very flavorful and we used the fresh baked sourdough bread to soak it all up after finishing the mussels. I had the Steak and Lobster and GF had the Broiled Swordfish. The steak was about an 8oz Filet Mignon, cooked Medium to perfection. The 1/2 Lobster Tail was simple; broiled with drawn butter on the side. So fresh, so delectable and plump. Had a bite of the Swordfish and it too was simply a fresh piece of fish cooked to perfection, finished with a little lemon butter. Melted in my mouth.... There must have been 300 people eating that day, yet somehow our waiter was able greet us kindly, guide us through the menu, get us our food quickly and attend to us with whatever we needed. The vast size of this restaurant and their ability to provide the highest quality food and service under extreme circumstances make this a truly phenomenal operation. Thank you Geraldi Family!!!
