I just received my refund check from State Farm Ins. My local agency accepted my initial payment, an initial payment and then SF actually debited my checking account (I signed up for automatic payments) without ever issuing my policy. That's right, I purchased a policy at the end of JANUARY and they refused to issue my policy because since relocating I haven't changed my driver's license yet. Okay, so that's your policy but I received statements, an account number, and everything that made me think everything was ok. So, why didn't they just not take me through all that from the start. I could have been with their competitors by now instead of unknowing riding around without insurance. Am I ticked? Heck yes! Called corporate Customer Service and they didn't know anything. By the time the Regional guy called I was done, over it! In Maryland I had State Farm for years and loved it!!! What's up with the difficulty NC? The local office was nice but corporate communication left a lot to be desired. Hey, how about sending payment statements, what about the letter that said you weren't issuing my policy in February instead of with the check in April!!! Had the nerve to offer to help me in the future with my insurance needs! Not a chance in ,,,well. you know!
