I went in to get a check up, cleaning, and because one side of my jaw was hurting. It is fairly clean, machinery seems very outdated. The cleaning was by far the most painful I've ever had. I was told I needed all of these sealants on my teeth, oh and that I could use a whitening. Of course, my insurance does not cover the full cost, so they wanted to charge me $600 bucks "as a deal" on them. In the meantime, no mention of why my jaw might be hurting, or what I can do about it. I told them I would wait to see my schedule to think about setting a time to do the sealants. I lied, I want a second opinion. I see a dentist every year and no one's ever come at me with this. Not to say, maybe I couldn't use them. I just wanted a second opinion. I have to tell her "no" again as I'm checking out if she should follow up on the appointment. I told her "I will contact you". This is on Friday, guess who called my job 1st thing in the morning on Monday. You got it. The upsale lady. I told her I was disappointed that they cared more about upsaling me then telling me what was actually making my jaw hurt. Now I'm still in pain and thinking about reporting it to my insurance.
