We ordered delivery from Chef Chen last night around 8:30-they close at 9 pm. They were nice on the phone and took our order. Though they said half an hour, I'm pretty sure that the food was at my door in about 15 minutes. General Tsao's chicken was sweet and spicy; not too breaded, but just enough to give it a nice crunch. Mongolian Beef was done very well too. Brown rice was cooked perfectly (not gummy and not crunchy).
This is a small kitchen with a few tables in a small strip center, and that's exactly the ambiance and atmosphere you can expect. The food is actually pretty good, and it is served up by some real Chinese (or Vietnamese) folks who are still working out their English. A lot of their customers just call in a take-out order. Prices are reasonable, and we hope they make a go of it.
The Golden Moon is really set up to be a Chinese buffet joint, although you can order from a menu if you really insist upon it. The chow is perfectly good, although not outstanding, and almost everything on the buffet is chock-full of calories. This is not a good place for people watching their diets. If you don't mind putting on a few pounds, it's a great place to pig-out.
