I now lve in Grants Pass Oregon but go to this res. every chance I get. It is wonderful. I have been eating here since 1970. To me it seems like the real deal. My favorite meal cheese enchilada dinner with warm homemade tortillias. Old building, smells great and great service and down town by what we used to call "skid row" makes it fun and funky to go to. Cost ? used to be 5.95 but of course that was in 1970 increase is just like every where else. If you want a new shiny res. this place is not for you. If you want good food and interesting surroundings this is it. Robyn Murphy
We had Rudy cater an event for a group of teachers. We ordered Tostada's and there was so much food leftover, not because we over ordered, but because Rudy makes extra for "just in case". Everyone ate to their hearts content and raved about the flavor of everything. Suzy's catering menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and I can promise you, it's all good food with a first class presentation. Thank you Rudy, we'll be calling you again soon.
busy place, nice, a little loud, and the music they were playing didn't go to well. very sugestive lirics on the radio station. our kids and us were a little imbaraced to have to lissen to very suggestive songs during dinner with kids. we were glad when the mariochies got there and they turned off the radio. food was good. home made tortillas, food good but not real authintic. more of a sports bar environment than a family resaurant.
