Elf's Cakery

I've used Elf's Cakery twice for a baby shower. Everyone spoke on how delicious the cake and cookies were. As for the price, no it's not cheap but it's reasonable for a custom made cake and well worth it!

I recently attended a wedding with cakes provided by this bakery. I wished I had read the reviews before so that I could have warned the bride and groom. There were several cakes displayed at the wedding. The only cake with any taste and flavor was the wedding (lime flavor). The groom did not put his cake on display as it was horrible to look at. It looked like a cake for a 3year old child. The cake tasted like the box, no flavor. The red velvet cake had absolutely no taste. The owner should be ashamed to provide such poor quality cakes.

We sampled light fluffy cake with an airy frosting that she zapped in the microwave. We got a very differnt cake my guest did not enjoy it. It was frozen hard in the middle. Very thick and dense very un eaven filling some parts were thick and some pieces barely had any. Way over priced i shoul have went to publix. Dont buy here. I could have gotten 2 better cakes. I will never go back

I initially went into the store to preorder a TMNT 8" birthday cake for my 10 y/o son. The cake was extremely overpriced even for fondant's sake, however I loved the design so I went ahead with the purchase. The young lady who assisted me almost overcharged me had I not calculated myself via my phone. The owner/manager was too involved in a personal conversation and correcting my kids for touching her precious 1980s gumball machine to even acknowledge my patronage. The kids enjoyed the cake, however I don't know if I'll ever do business with this place again because I am a consumer who values customer relations more so than a product or service provided.

BE WARNED DO NOT USE AND I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS BAKERY THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NOT PROVIDE SERVICE, THEY TOOK MY CLIENTS MONEY FOR HER WEDDING AND DECIDED NOT TO RENDER SERVICE A WEEK BEFORE HER WEDDING AND THEN STATED SHE COULD NOT GET A REFUND FOR THREE WEEKS, MIND YOU HER WEDDING IS A WEEK AWAY, SHE WILL BE FINE AND WILL GET A BETTER CAKE ELSEWHERE, BUT DO NOT GO TO ELF'S CAKERY I MEANT ELF'S FAKERY IN STOCKBRIDGE

Set an appointment for a cake tasting for Wednesday 01.06.16 for 11:30 am. We did not start until 11:50 a.m. nothing was ready, because the employee's were not told that an appointment was set for a tasting.

I have to say I was disappointed. They lady who assisted us tried her best to help she was very kind... The cake samples she gave to us seem to be warmed in a microwave half warm and half cold.. No other options for filling except for butter cream.. I had high expectations for this vendor. I will not be purchasing a wedding cake from them.
