" Hello, I read an article on the controversy of disallowing a U.S. Fflag on the coffin of a veteran in your parish.I published an article at an internet site ' military.com'. I am not a catholic. But, I supported Rev.James Kane's decision in an article I wrote on that site.I think you would be interested in reading it.You can find it there on the discussion of veterans about this incident. It was published on 18 August,2009 at 1:03 p.m. The article is titled 'NY church bars flags on Vets' coffin'. I am titled as (L6o3snms). It was the top article in that publication, on 18 August,2009. This just happened to be the top article published on that date.I am a 100% disabled U.S. Marine Officer. Though not a catholic Christian, I strongly supported his office and decision. I feel very strongly about this topic. I thought you might want to know, and read it. I believe in his position and his very difficult decision. I thought you may want to know what was said. God bless Rev. Kane! He made a very selfless/sacred decision , and I admire him for the strength of his difficult decision. That took enormous courage and I want him to know that he is loved and respected! Christ is risen!, Norvel Scott "
