Kinza Sushi

Why is it so hard to find a good Japanese restaurant in the Valley? I know there are good Japanese restaurants in Torrance, Gardena, DT or West LA area, but I could never find decent Japanese restaurants outside of these areas. Kinza is one of those examples. This place would be okay for non-Japanese customers, but for a Japanese native like me, it's easy to spot a real Japanese restaurant vs a fake wannabe Japanese restaurant.



One easy way to tell apart these restaurants is the miso soup. Miso soup seems simple to make but it's actually very difficult to make. When I tried miso soup at Kinza I felt that the soup was missing something.



I ordered Sushi combo and it was not dry but tasted too "fishy". One thing I liked was that they gave me lots of salad with the combo.



Overall, nothing was special and I would not come back here again.
